1.) I was wondering what my eye color was. I get a lot of different answers and I just want to see what everyone says. It's pretty much opinion. I have a major close up of my eyes, but if you don't look that close they pretty much look brown.

2.) I was wondering...if someone with my eye color (my mom has blue eyes, and my dad has dark brown eyes) and someone with blue eyes (I'm guessing that at least one of their parents has blue eyes) has kids what eye color would the kid have most likely?

I got my eyes dialated a couple days ago, but do you think it's OK if I didn't wear sunglasses while I was on the computer or while watching TV? Cuz the doctor didn't say anything about it. All he said was to wear sunglasses outside.

Do u think it's ok to take out my contact lenses from the center of my eye where the lenses is at? because the eye doctor's assistant didn't say anything that is wrong and plus that's the only way i can take out the lenses. i'm asking because this time, i have a different lense (Acuve advanced) but i used to use Acuve 2 which was easier to remove.

Do u have any clue why? And I'm going back for a recheck next week but do you think they should measure my eyes like the diameters for prescription??

My old contact lenses I used to have (Acuve 2) the lenses was bigger than the one the doctor gave me.

I recently had Lasik eye surgery. October 16. And, my eyes have been great since then, 20/15, only hurt the first few days. The whole deal, awesome great, I'm excited. This morning I woke up, and I noticed that it looks like my vision is a little blurry. But, I'm like whatever I got that whole morning thing going on, or there's something in my eye It'll get better. Well now it's the afternoon, and I was like, damn what the poop is wrong with my vision? So I put my hand over my right eye and I'm like, wow, my left eye can see REALLY good. So, I put my hand over my left eye, I can't see a thing. I'm a foot and a half away from this computer and I just covered my left eye and I could barely see what I was typing. Now I know you're probably going to say "call your eye doctor" well I did, and they're rich, so they're on there 4 hour lunch break. If anyone knows anything PLEASE help.

I'm going to the optometrist tomorrow for the first time. I'm 14. Can someone tell me what usually happens there? How will they figure out if you need glasses? Is it the traditional chart with the big → small letters? Here are some of the problems, among others, that I've had lately:

- Frequent headaches.
- Eyes hurt when I move them.
- Can't see at all in the sunlight. I have to look down or close my eyes. Same with strong lighting (I need to have very dim lighting).
- Vision is blurry from 6/7 ft away and onwards.
- With just my right eye, things look a bit "cooler" in terms of color. With my left eye, "hotter" colors are more pronounced.
- I'm always squinting.
- "Floaters".

I read quite a bit and I'm on the computer for most of the day. I have a good diet. I tried on a friend's glasses once and it definitely improved my vision. Do you think I'll get glasses?

Thanks for your help.

I have just gotten glasses to correct my slight 20/25 L and 20/75 R vision. Now, I'm just wondering if wearing my glasses for just when I cannot read the blackboard or if I should wear them more often. Which is more damaging to the eye? I really don't need glasses for most things, just reading faraway things such as text. Will my eyes adjust to the glasses and get worse over time?

I'm 16, I've never had an eye-test or my eyes checked. I have difficulty seeing far away, everything seemed to blur together, but when I get closer it focused. I discovered that if I cover up my right eye, my left was blur in an out no matter how close or far away I am, it'll try to focus, but it never is clear. I discovered that if I cover up my left eye, my right one blurs in and out but not as badly and it'll focus close to clear and if I'm close to what I'm seeing, it doesn't blur at all.. Could I be nearsighted..is what my eyes are doing normal or should i get my eyes checked? Also, I tried on a person who is near-sighted glasses and I saw clearly.
