Eye glasses: they're cheaper, easier to maintain and use and run no risk of infection. They come in different styles so, if you care about such things, it can become a fashion item.

Contacts can irritate the eyes, must be put in with some difficulty and often get dropped and lost ( or you spend a hour groping the carpet of a dark movie theater ). Periodically, there are infections reported. If you want to pretend that you don't wear glasses, and for some sports, contacts might appear to have advantages. You can also do things like change the color of your eyes with contacts.

Contact lenses. I spent a lot of my life wearing glasses. Finally decided to get contacts. So glad I did. I should have gotten them a long time ago. If you play any kind of sports which I do, I wore my glasses to play baseball, didn't wear anything for basketball or soccer. Would have made such a difference. And in bad weather for sports, you're constantly cleaning your glasses.

I still have a couple pairs of glasses, but I just like that wherever I look with my contacts, it's clear. With glasses, you look a certain way, and you can't see clearly. Or if you look down.

And really, contacts are pretty easy to care for and I've never lost one. Just replace them after a month.

Glasses. I had contacts once, but they got lost easily, tore easily and irritated my eyes so much. Also, if they get dry, they fall out, so you could be in the middle of a shop, they get dry because your eye can't produce the stuff that keeps it wet, so dries out really quickly. The down sides to glasses are that they have to be cleaned almost constantly, and they can get sat on and broken, or just scratched. Small price to pay for having nice, painfree eyes.

Contact lens - I drive a lot, so there are no problems with glaring from headlights like with glasses. Not to mention your not pushing them back up on your nose constantly. I wish I had switched a long time ago.

I prefer contacts because you don't have to clean them as much. You just keep them in your eye. You can also wear them to bed. You won't bend them like glasses. Sometimes people make fun of you when you wear glasses but you can't even see contacts.

Eye glasses anytime.

Less chances of infection, corneal abrasion, less chances of new vessles growing from all sides into the cornea.

Glasses, because i don't think eyes are supposed to have foreign bodies permanently floating in them. They also need meticulous hygiene and blunt the corneal reflex which is sometimes used to check if people are brain dead. Having medics erroneously decide you are dead seems to me to be too high a price to pay for vanity.
