Do u think it's ok to take out my contact lenses from the center of my eye where the lenses is at? because the eye doctor's assistant didn't say anything that is wrong and plus that's the only way i can take out the lenses. i'm asking because this time, i have a different lense (Acuve advanced) but i used to use Acuve 2 which was easier to remove.

I have had had contacts for a long time, I am also and optician and there are many ways to remove your lenses. I take them off from the center of my eye as well and there is nothing wrong with that. AV advanced are harder to remove because they have more moisture and are more slippery. Try to squeeze a dab of solution in your eye before you remove them, that will make it easier.

To take contacts out, pinch the sides(not too hard) and pull the contact out of your eye. Make sure that you put the contacts in a case with contact solution and put it back in once you are ready.

if you're not having trouble doing the way you are comfortable doing it, you're ok. I was told the same thing and I do what you do, lol
