I got my eyes dialated a couple days ago, but do you think it's OK if I didn't wear sunglasses while I was on the computer or while watching TV? Cuz the doctor didn't say anything about it. All he said was to wear sunglasses outside.

If you got your eyes dilated a few days ago, you should be fine by now. The dilation process takes only seconds, and the pupils are usually only dilated for a few hours, not days. If you're still sensitive to sunlight, or any light for that matter, wear sunglasses and call your eye doctor to make sure nothing is wrong.

As for your question, the wearing of the sunglasses after dilation is only to protect your eyes since your pupils couldn't undilate when exposed to the sun.

Yes, I think that's okay. They suggest you wear sunglasses because with your pupils dilated it will seem brighter than normal, and your eyes natural defence is in-operational for a while. You also are not supposed to drive after they've dilated your pupils, but I do it all the time - my distance vision doesn't seem to be affected, just up close.
