During sec 2 my uncle started to pick on me by putting me in my room and beating scolding making me feel like the most usless person on earth , he say he's just trying to use hard disciplin on me but made me go bipolar during sec 3 with his abuse and the IMH doctor didn't do anything when i pointed him out that he did to me and even called me spoiled after talking to my uncle. The person I'm writing about has very little family left. He seems to get a little bit more "down" every year as the holidays approach.

Like, you know how after you eat something with a lot of sugar, you get really hyper, then 10 minutes later or something you get really tired? Well, I'm like that over the course of a few days.
For example, I really care about my grades. Usually if I get an A, I'd be really happy. But whenever I got a test back this week with an A on it I'd just be even more upset because I didn't get 100%. Then tonight I kept thinking about killing myself. What's wrong with me???

I just saw "A beautiful mind" and in the beginning of it, Russell Crow kept tapping his forhead with his fingers. For those of you who have seen it, you know that he was diagnosed with schizophrenia. Anyway, my family used to be friends with a guy who was schizophrenic and he would always tap his forehead too. Is this a common thing for people with schizophrenia? What do you think it means when they do this? Just curious, Thanks!

I was on antidepressants and the made me hallucinate. I had never had any for of hallucinations before being on the medication. Could the hallucinations have just been hidden, and once I was on the medications it brought them forward? I've been off the meds for about 2 weeks and still am having visual hallucinations on an almost daily basis. It's only little things like bugs, no people like it was before. However, obviously I shouldn't still be going through withdrawal of a pill I only took for a little over a week! None of my current medications [mood stabalizers, anxiety, and one antidepressant Trazodone] should be making ma hallucinate or so my psychiatrist told me. So yeah, any ideas?

Could you be obsessed or addicted to talking to a school counselor. I feel like everyday i have to go and talk to him. we had some pretty bad family problems that he helped me with. but now i cant stop going to see him.

he listens and gives me attention. i dont get that at home or with my friends. im the outsider all the time when it comes to hanging out. i never feel like i belong when we hang out. i feel uncomfertable in my own skin.

could there still be something bugging me about the family problems or am i just using him to get attention?

I have SAD, which quite a few other people suffer from. Besides having deep depression with bad episodes, during the Winter with the grey sky and the cold weather I hibernate. I have to leave all my lights on in the day, that helps.
But no matter how I plan, when it hits its awful.

I have two degrees, sort ofbecoming a rising star where I work, and not depressed about anything. Everything seems to be going pretty well for the most part. Still, some seems off. I just have no clue.
