Going through it several times has caused you to stop and think. If it will never work why are so many doing therapy. Well even in therapy there are winners and losers. Stay with people who are like yourself. Don't chase the winners and don't chase rainbows. Bad expectations cause depression.

you keep trying and never loose hope until you find your inner peace, seek group therapy and learn that your not alone, i have anxiety disorder and a mild depression ,what i did was i changed my whole life style and filled it with healthy and rewarding activities, loving friends and family, and my beloved adorable doggy.i went back to school to better my self and trying to make my self think positive,do something fulfilling in your life let go of the past and stop blaming ur self or others ,eat healthy ,exercises and sleep plenty, if u have to take meds don't rely on meds alone combine it with a healthy life style . happiness is a choice dont give up.

if your therapist is unable to help you he or she should refer you to someone else otherwise the therapist is just taking your money. Further, there are new therapies coming up say art therapy, eclectic therapy, narrative therapy, check around.
