I've had that feeling before, and it bothers me too. Sometimes it happens at weird times too--like at a funeral recently. Everyone was crying, even grown men, but I couldn't well up a single drop! Everyone looked at me like I wasn't bothered by this person's death and therefore must be some heartless biznitch, but that wasn't true. I just couldn't cry!
There are times that I can't seem to stop crying also, even once I know that everything is alright. I think that emotional response is unpredictable at times, often influenced by external things--our location, people around us, even certain smells. You could be just dying inside but you're at someone's birthday party and you're unable to cry because you're distracted by all of the celebrating. I think we're all influenced in different ways.
I suggest you take a walk in a park, find an empty bench, sit down and think about the situation, and then just let it out. Or, rent a tearjerker movie, watch it by yourself and cry along with it just to have that release. I think you'll feel better about it once you've let it all out!

Everybody is different in how they respond to something. You don't have to cry when you are sad or mad. Maybe you will express it in another way. So just be aware of what you're feeling and because you are so disappointed be careful when something small makes you upset and you overreact. That's how I express my hurts and disappointment. If you really just want to have a good cry, watch something on tv that is emotional (extreme home makeover) or something. That works for me and I cry like a baby!

You're dehydrated. All that sweat you put into your work. Relax with some tea or water, snuggle up on the couch or someplace warm and let your mind wander over other opportunities for advancement in life....

practically every teenager says this at some point.
it's just a little depression.
it means NOTHING. everything is normal. you're supposed to be depressed like that when you've worked really hard for something only to feel/be cheated at the end.
it happened because something bad happened that made you realize that you had no control over it since the beginning, despite your efforts.
