My sister and I shared bunk beds when we were younger and I slept on the top bunk. I had this completely irrational fear that at night my sister turned into the wolfman. I was terrified to let any part of my body dangle over the edge of the bed for I knew the wolfman would get me. Also I would never get up in the middle of the night, even if I needed to pee really bad. I have no idea where this fear came from, I never saw any horror films or read scary stuff when I was little.

Quicksand.
I think I had read a Nancy Drew book where she fell into quicksand. I was really little and thought I could fall into it and drown on my way to school.

Stuffed animal heads on walls. My family stayed in a small hotel that had a huge buffalo head on the wall and we were convinced the rest of the beast was behind the wall and we quaked with fear when we had to go past it.

When I was young, I developed a terrific fear of Satan and evil spirits. I don't know where it came from, I didn't watch scary movies, and my parents aren't bible beaters who told me I was going to hell. I just was terrified that something was going to get me and hurt me... I suppose now it's not illogical to fear evil, but it's kinda odd for a little kid to think about that stuff.

with me it was weried my illiogical childhood fear was i would scream for 3 hours striaght for my papa to come up and comfrot me. my mom picked out these curtains and me being 3 or 4 i thought they were scary and they would eat me. my parents said i had to grow up so i would be a courward and hide undermyblanket. my problem was that i couldnt breath that long under neath the blanket i was breathing in to much carbon dixode. so i would pick up the blanket enough to get my mouth and nose out and breath. i did that until i feel asleep. i never tod my parents i was still scared of the curtains i wanted them to think i grew up. now i just laugh about it.

I had a 4 foot tall stuffed red dog that I thought was evil. I used to have to turn it's face to the wall because I thought it was going to kill me in my sleep.

I went thru a strange period one summer when I was 7 or so. I was so frightened of thunderstorms that I became afraid of blue skies. I convinced myself they were really heavy dark grey clouds.

I was afraid of those sticky spider things you would throw at the wall and watch them walk down. Wacky wall walkers or something

OMG lookout right here it is going. i'm from East TX close to a small city spoke of as Palestine. it particularly is the county seat of Anderson county so it had a form of enormous courtroom homes wit the dome/steple ceilings. nicely as a infant knew that TX replaced into extensive and that i presumed u . s . replaced into in TX and the courtroom domicile replaced into DC and the reality that my mom had to circulate there "to register her vehicle" i presumed the President replaced into going to throw her in penitentiary.
