Mental Health - April 2007

Hi people. I hope you can help me. I have had Panic attacks and suffered from Agoraphobia. Oh ya and i have OCD. I pull my eyelashes out. A couple years ago i started valuim, then i got pregnant so i stopped cold turkey. WOW it was bad. I had attacks all day all night. Now its been 2 years i have beed drug free untill last night. I started takeing Lexapro. Tonight is my second night. I when to the food store and had a very very bad attack i thought i was going to faint. What medications are out there that are best for my problem. Remember i cant take valium or anything addicting. Is lexapro good or should i try something different? thanks everyone :}

I don't really know how old I look to other people, so I want your honest opinion! Seriously, if I asked anyone close to me, they'll be all, "aw, don't worry, you look fine!"

Um. I know I look fine. I just wanna know how old people think I am at first glance.

I know I need some form of help. I have no trust when it comes to my husband. When we were in counseling before I couldn't even fall back into his arms. Everytime he is late or I can't get a hold of him I assume he is cheating on me. It is ruining us. I don't know if I go see a physciatrist or my regular doctor or what. Someone please, I don't have much time to save my marriage.

Is Risperdal a dopamine agonist? I take it for Bipolar and am currently decreasing it slowly so that I can conceive.. but my prolactin levels are high my Luteal phase is short because I am spotting (only 8 days). I was asking this question becuase I would like to start taking Vitex & B6 to help with this problem and it takes months to work but the Vitex says not to take if you are taking a dopamine agonist.

Any help appreciated!

my ex boyfriend always calls me crying telling me that he had a very bad dream... he doesn't go into details when i ask him what the dreams was about... we stay on the phone only for a short time, he tells me he has to go... i just don't understand .. he calls then we won't talk for a bout 2 weeks then he calls again of the same situation... then he text to thank me for making him feel better.... ?????

I am looking to get tutoring for my 4 year old son that has Asperger's/High fuctioning Autism. He currently attends special education pre-k which ends at the this month. I live in the Atlanta area. If anyone knows of any websites, or organizations that can provide me with information about tutoring, or maybe even occupational therapy I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Please help! My boyfriend of 8 months is suffering depression. He was injured 3 years ago that has left him with chronic pain. He's not happy with his job -but won't pursue looking for a different one. He believe's we argue and don't get along all the time. I lost one of my part time jobs. And he believe's we argue all the time and don't get along. I am actively looking for another job. We have had a few disagreements recently over little stupid things - is this from his depression? We had a disagreement yesterday that ended with him calling us over and wanting me and my son out as soon as possible. Today he wants us to work and see how we do this weekend. I don't know what to do! I Love him and he says he loves me. And I feel that the few disagreements we have had stems from his depression. I did get him to schedule to talk to a counselor tomorrow. I have tried to be very supportive of him and help him in any way I can, but it feels like he's pushing me away. Help please.

dear community I'd like to ask your opinion: I'm on therapy for anorex/bulimia. in the last months the purging occasions have finally became very rare (a couple of time in 15 days). however, i just can't tell my therapist when it happens, i hide it most of the times.it is already an achievment, as Ifor years I purged twice a day...but I don't feel good not being clear with the therapist(even because I think it's sure that she knows that it is possible).If I've been clear enough, what do you think? thanks to all

I'm curious as to whether I do have dyslexia or not. I asked this question to a friend before but she just said my eyes are trying to take in too much information for my brain to process, but I'm still not convinced that I don't have dyslexia. I mean isn't that what dyslexia is?

Anyways, whenever I read something, especially paragraphs, I will sometimes leave out or add in words. Sometimes the words I add in don't actually show up until a couple lines down the page. When I write or type I also tend to add or forget to add words. For example, yesterday I wrote "the the" on multiple occasions. Is this a sign of dyslexia?

I was sitting with my crush in class. He was on the right, me on the left. I was being really touchy. I held his hand and put my head on his shoulder. He didn't seem to mind. He talked to me like I was a friend. After being all touchy and nice, the dream shifted to him sitting in front and me in the back. I asked for his screen name. He seemed like he was writing something down. The dream ended...I never got to see what was written....in real life, I was thinking of asking my crush for his screen name. He's not really my friend in real life.

What's this dream mean?
