The world, today, is full of disturbing things. In some ways being disturbed by what you hear or see is a good thing -- you have a marvelous sensitivity to what is real. So much of our world has lost that preciousness of life, to protect what is good and right. Anger toward danger or disrespect is actually a positive response - it shows your care and concern.

One thing you can do - to keep your healthy sensitivity - is to Guard Your Mind, and not go around purposely exposing your self to things that should not be. Know what is going on in your world, but limit how many times you hear it or read it. (example: shootings in VA)
To a bad picture or an offensive joke - just turn and walk away. Your presence or non presence speaks loudly enough.

Those are the best ways to remain cool and confident and yet still be the who of who you are.

i try to figure it out every day cuz i'm pushed to my limit everyday. I write in my journal and just pray. I listen to upbeat music(think Rob Thomas). I keep my goals in check and just focus on that. You should do the same.

Consider the source, accept it for what it is, and move on. Difficult, yes. Being mindful of your reaction is more revealing, than dwelling on the behavior of others.

Sooner or later stress gets to a being...until then most beings just let it roll like oh really?
