I am 19 years old now, and I used to be very confident when I was in my elementary and early high school years. Where did it all go? I would fight anyone not even caring if I knew I would get my *** handed to me. I would talk whenever I'd want to and speak my mind whenever I'd want to without caring what others thought AT ALL. Can someone tell me why, and give me some advice as how I can get back into that mind frame?

He has never concealed anything to me.I know everything abt his good and bad characters. He himself has told me.He didn't get mother's love when he was born.So he wants me to show all the love and affection for him just as a mother .I'm 19 yrs old and he's 21.He has never tasted his mother's milk.So he want to sip in my breast. But I'm not a mother to feed him.So he wished to hurt me with a blade in the breast and drink the blood of mine.I refused and he also didn't do anything. If I don't care abt him, then he himself hurts with blade. But I don't understand why he's behaving like this.Is he affected as he don't had mother's love?He feel very depressed when he thinks of his mother .what shall I do?For personal qns mail at "lakshmi_duncan@yahoo.co.in"

I went to see my Dr yesterday who has said she is 99% convinced my health situation is anxiety! I have been ill for 7 weeks, it started with a flu type virus along with abdominal pain, noticiable nodes in my groin area, odd cold running water sensations in my limbs, pins and needles, pressure feelings under my arms, very cold hands and feet, areas of my feet underneath sometimes feel numb. Even though my flu type symptoms have gone I have symptoms left e.g. pins and needles in my hands/arms/feet and legs almost constantly which feel numbish. Constant lightheadedness and the feeling of not being real, reactions to lights either bright or dim. I have been terrified that I am seriously ill with either some sort of cancer or MS!and have started thinking about how I will feel when I am told I have something and how I will manage to cope with it! My doc has done blood tests, CBC, kidney, liver functions, inflammation, diabetes, throid etc and is now sending me to a GP at the hosp!Anxiety?

Ever since I was young, I've had anxiety. Sometimes it's normal anxiety (before I have a project due, when I don't have time to finish things), but sometimes I get it out of nowhere. I have taken medication for it in the past, but I'm not really one for taking medicine everyday. There must be another solution. Any ideas?

i have a phobia i am going to blow up. i also have a fear of flying. i developed it a family member of mine died right in front of me in 2001. also 9/11 occured right after she died. then i got on a plane and had a panic attack. i went to an emergency room. they had an air marshall with me. i flew a few times after that, but i find it disruptive to other people for me to be there.

also, i have this blowing up on fire fear, like when im driving. and i think about it all the time in my home. i feel like something is going to make me blow up.

what should i do? i dont want to take medicines, as believe it or not, i am not depressed.

Especially if written by a woman. I don’t mean to be offensive but I just read an article in Newsweek about male depression and the woman's writing lacked any sensitivity to the issue. Maybe women are trying to manipulate men into seeking healthcare. Stating men should "own up" to their psychological problems, that way making it “manly” to seek help. Why do women think it’s necessary to always play games with mens' minds? When you read an article about female depression they are made out as victims of a disease, male sufferers of depression are made out as a nuisance. That’s why they don’t seek help. This approach is irresponsible in my opinion. It almost seemed the author, Julie Scelfo, was irritated that she received this assignment. Compassion is the key to good medical treatment isn’t it? Do men not deserve compassion when they are sick? Hope this wasnt too much? Thanks for your comments...

Hello, just wanted to let you know of a miracle pill that puts you to sleep, available over the counter, is actually very very beneficial for your health, the health of your brain and is only 3 bucks!! I had trouble falling asleep for years. I would lay in bed, and think and think and think for hours before I could fall asleep. It was literally driving me crazy!! I had tried every over the counter sleeping pill on the market and nothing helped. I turned to Nyquil and that did the trick. I had been drinking Nyquil almost every night to go to sleep until I stumbled upon this miracle sanity saving nutritional supplement named MELATONIN. And you can buy it at any GNC health food store. I advocate GNC because the melatonin they use goes through 85 different quality checks before its bottled. Buy the sublingual melatonin. The kind that dissolves underneath your tongue tastes like cherries and it’s good for you!! If you have any questions before you buy it the sales associate at GNC should be able to answer any questions you have. It comes in 1 mg, I take 2 right before bed. The only side effects are weird dreams for two nights if any at all. Should be taken at regular bedtimes in the evening.
God Bless
P.S. after you try it and it works don’t forget to tell others about it. You could be saving someone else’s Sanity

I think stuff all the time like my partner cheating on me, leaving me and worse. I have only been with him a few months and we argue alot because if he says something i dont like i go on forever about it and winds me up and my head starts to hurt. When i first met him i was more laid back, and his sarcastic jokes would go over my head and i would laugh, but now i bite back! and take it the wrong way. Am i getting mentally ill?
