Small steps....first just imagine how you look..and then slowly look at a little more of the face each day...and make peace with it. It is easy for someone else to say, I know, but you have to learn to accept it if you cannot change it. Take it one step at a time. if you cannot do this, than decide if looking in the mirror is that important or not.

It's not what you see in your face that counts, it's what you see in your soul. Other people can see beyond your face, what ever may have happened, and I'm sure you're a lovely person to be with. Think what you have to offer the world, regardless of how you look. Your friends will see past your face, and only the person that you really are. As for mirrors, it's up to you whether you look in them or not, but hopefully the more you see the more used to yourself you will become.
Beauty comes from within honey.

Accepting your looks is a step towards overcoming any fears you may have. Surrounding yourself with mirrors can help you do this. If you can accept yourself, then others will too.

Oh my goodness sweetie...
You are not the person that you see in the mirror.
Try looking more at others. Move beyond yourself to find the good in others and how you can make their lives better.
You will be amazed at the improvement in your looks...or your perception of yourself.
And it is all perception!

Just start with a glance and then try 2 seconds and then try 4 seconds. Just keep building up until you can look at it any time you want for as long as you want.

why dont you people give us more details.
EXACTLY WHAT IS WRoNG WITH YOUR FACE.
BUT to answer you openended question. THERE have been many people disfigured by fire and accidents...most of them adjust to their appearance.
They look inside themselves and find beauty from with in.
One of my friends is as ugly as old wizzened up boot but she is a fabulous person who laughs a lot and is not hung up by her appearance. She even jokes about it.

Have you actually found what you're looking for on here yet? I think you should just stop whining and get out there and have a life. What actually happened to your face in the first place then? I find it hard to believe, I think you are making it up.
