Teenagers are at a very tough stage of life. They are no longer "children" but aren't technically adults. They have a hard time dealing with conflicting emotions. During the teenage years, you have to deal with so many emotions - figuring out who you are, trying to find friends that have the same beliefs that you do, and trying to figure out what you want to do for the rest of your life.

Many teenagers commit suicide because they feel that there is nothing left to live for. They may have been though a bad relationship with a boy/girlfriend and feel like their world is ending. They may be clinically depressed but too ashamed to tell someone about it. They may feel like death is the only way in which they will feel peace inside themselves. They may also feel like when they die, their family and friends will be better off.

Teenage suicide is very complex and often teens see suicide as a quick way to fix their problems.
