I have a bad habit of trying to heal my hurts by my relationships with men. This makes me end up with some of the worst controlling type men. I end up hating the relationship and wanting out again. I know to truly be happy I must be dependant upon myself but does this mean I should stay unmarried the rest of my entire life?

I've been so stressed from school and my self-esteem. And all of that stress has cused me to lose weight and my hair and skin to become damaged and dry.

I have severe obstructive sleep apnea. And I've had two surgeries to try to correct this problem in the past year with little success. I've had my upper and lower jaw broken and moved forward, and my tonsils removed all within a year. I'm not overweight and I eat a very healthy diet with almost no caffeine. I've had no improvement with the CPAP machine (which in my opinion is always leaking and waking me up) and have tried 4 different masks so far. After my last surgery, while in the hospital recovering I had continued apnea episodes. Plus, having insomnia has got me so sleep deprived I can't think straight. I'm scared of getting into relationships because of being tired all the time, and I even blame myself for missing out on most of my son's life due to this. I'm depressed, can't work anymore and don't know what to do? My doctor will not prescribe a sleep medicine for me probably due to the apnea.

A good friend has been prescribed this by a psychologist on his first visit. He was diagnosed with "a small depression". I think Prozac is far too drastic. Do you know anything about its effects?

This is not a rant - I'm looking for serious answers to help. My wife cannot plan or visualise the outcomes of actions - C can think in terms of "happy" outcomes but not the stages required to achieve them. For example, Xmas is a happy outcome but C cannot see the steps and follow them through - eg buy the turkey, plan the guest list, send out invites etc. C always needs instant gratification - C will decide the re-decorate a room and go ahead and just buy the paint without consulting on her ideas. C knows this is a problem but she cannot help herself. C doesn't have other compulsive or addictive behavours. A more serious consequence is that our son has aspergers, and C cannot understand the linkage between what we do or don't do to help him now and how he will survive as an adult. C just hopes everything will be alright. I am the opposite (a planning freak) and so maybe I am too extreme the other way. Cdoes therapy, but I an not sure this is the only or best solution. Help please.

I have been to two different specialist and they have checked me out finding only that I am suffereing from post tramatic strees.I have lost 35 pounds without trying and I eat ok and sleep ok although I never seem to feel that im not tired.I notice symptoms that I never noticed before and its really disturbing.I notice my heart more than anything .It just doesnt seem right. I hear my pulse in ears alot but they say its from tmj and also that I lost so much weight its lost its inner padding in my ear and opens it up to where I can hear the pulse when in the past I was heavier.I would think that two specialist telling me the same things that im ok other than the ptsd i would believe them and not have reason to doupt their word.Do you think that everything I feel is just becase of stress or is there something more going on? I want to believe im ok,but I feel so weird sometimes .Is there ways to convince yourself that all is well?

If you have herd of it, I was looking on line @ the NLP store and I kinda got the hint that you have to go through a sort of basic training for NLP. Is this true?
