I'm on effexor since last June.i find its name on the web: "effexor" but the drug I'm taking is :"efexor".why?

There is Effexor and Effexor XR- (Extended Release.) A typo is probably the answer, but if you aren't sure check www.webmd.com.

Someone just can't spell or type correctly on your Rx bottle.

You will also find Welbutrin and Wellbutrin.
