When I swear, I feel guilty right away and feel the need to apologize to god. I know to some this may seem good, cus most people can't even admit their doing something wrong or never apologize. Lately even when I litter on the ground, I feel the need to pick it up and I feel soo bad. When I think and criticize someone in my mind I apologize and feel guilty. Even when I masturbate. What's wrong with me?? It feels soo akward. I mean I know I should feel bad, but sometimes for the most silly and normal natured things I feel bad for? Is god trying to show me something or am I messed in the head?!

All my life I'm been very stressed out and depressed. Especially last year when it was the worst. Now that I'm a year older I learned how to cope with it and I'm now happier. But I guess I'm still stressed and somewhat depressed from my parents pressuring about future universtiy plans, extracuricular. My parents are nagging me constantly so I don't find a lot of time to de-stress. (It's very hard to do schoolwork partially because of that). (It's hard to meditate or to do yoga...because I don't get any peace and quiet). Any healthy (legal) tips on how to destress?

I have had nervous ticks since i was 13. I am 25 now, and I have mostly learned to live with it but lately the ticks or muscle spasms have been lasting for days, and if it stops it just starts up in another place. So if you can imagi having parts of you body move on its on over and over again, like my thumb, or the middle of my arm extc. its literally driving me crazy. Most of the time im just sitting around holding it so that I can feel it less. I have had thoughts of just getting a knife and cutting the parts that jump. I know it sounds crazy but what ever its making me crazy. I went to my doctor and he told me in alsmost these exact words, is that there are no medicines out there for these problems. And no one is going to pay billions of dollars to research a medicine to help cure a problem that is that rare. Then he gave me some Lexapro he said it should help me come down as far as stress over time, but the Lexapro was just making me feel even more insane along with the tic

I have long hair that is already past my buttocks (I am short..) and I really don't know if I should get it cut.
My mother likes it long, but she doesn't know that it is starting to get me sick. I am dizzy, light-headed, and nauseaus (sp?) all the time. I also have headaches/migraines and trouble walking/standing steadily most of the day. I have done research about this and I have come to the conclusion that I might have vertigo. This isn't that bad, but I think that I, being a freshman, shouldn't have this problem.
I enjoy my long hair because it seperates me from the crowd. I am just tired of having this nausea, and I feel like I need a change. I've told my friends that I am wanting to get it cut over winter break and most of them are disappointed.

I know that I should do this for me, but I'm not sure what to do. Should I remain as an individual and keep it long? Or should I make a drastic change for my own self image?

(I am considering donating my hair)

Please help, thank you!!

My husband has severe depression and they are considering ECT for him. We know some of the side effects (short term memory loss, confusion) but we would like to hear from someone who has actually been through it. Only serious replies please. We are already stressed over this.
