Symptoms of depression include: irritability, changes in sleep habits: oversleeping or insomnia, changes in eating patterns: overeating or lack of appetite, weight loss or gain, changes in mood, anger, loss of interest in activities you once enjoyed, lethargy, sadness, crying.....

It sounds like your parents are the same way mine were when I was suffering when I was younger. They were in denial. Have you tried to confide in your pastor/minister? Or maybe your guidance counselor at school? You need an adult to reach out to that can speak to your parents and make them realize that you are suffering from a serious medical condition and you need some therapy. It does sound like they don't want to face the truth. Perhaps they are hoping if they ignore it, it will go away. It won't though and you need to find someone outside of the family to reach out to whether it's someone from the church or someone at your school.

Good luck.....

My parents never saw my depression as a child, though mostly because I hid it from them. From everyone. I wish so much that I had gotten help at a young age... It wasn't until I had already destroyed my life that I got the help I needed. Tell them again, and again, tell a teacher, tell a leader at church, keep telling people until someone believes you! don't give up!

I have a buddy who had bronchial asthma and realizing that he would be disqualified for becoming a member of. He certainly not stated he had it, that is traditionally what you will have performed. If you can not get the correct documentation and move to the recruiter you went to earlier than to get this resolved, then potentially move to a different state for a recruiter and do not point out the capsules, and so on.

Find some productive and fun things to do to keep your mind occupied with more positive information. Doing some light fictional reading can be of great help. Find something that is both entertaining and challenging to keep yourself busy and you'll have no time to waste on temper tantrums. You don't sound like you are depressed, you sound like you are simply bored.
