Mental Health - October 2006

Anyone have these issues like me? Here's my current meds: Verapamil, 40 mg 3 times a day, Trileptal, 300 mg twice a day, Midrin, Requip. Since taking this cocktail, been tired, however, my cluster headaches seem to be gone, head just fizzed out.
Before I was getting cluster headaches 3 times a day, around 2:30am, 1:30pm and 9pm. Felt like a brain freeze and lasted about 2 hours. So far so good. Feels like the head still want's to attack me, but it's like loaded with novacaine.

It ticks me off cause it usually takes anywhere from 45mins to 1hr 1/2 to fall asleep. I'll assume this is not normal since my Dad takes like 10mins to fall asleep. Is there some type of drug/pills that I can take to fal asleep faster?

I keep having wet dreams about Pete Wentz, I won't go into detail, what does this mean? It's freaking me out, is this normal? I'm 17.

have missed out something in life? I remember being invited to dinner by some friends and really enjoyed the chicken pie.

However, I could not understand why everyone was laughing at me. I was making a real exhibition of myself and could not stop laughing and rolling on the floor. Later I can remember being very remorse and down. I evetually found out that my friend had put magic mushrooms in the chicken pie. I will always remember how unhappy I felt and the tears and sadness..

And so I can never understand why people want to put themselves through this torture for a few moments of Euphoria.

I'm in the Student Accounting Society in my college. We are raising money for the St. Jude's Childrens' Cancer Research Hospital. At our table in the halls of the College Of Business, we had a bowl of candy, for everyone who donated money...

A kid walked by the table, grabing a handful of candy. We stopped him and asked, "Do you want to donate?" and he said, "No." and kept walking.

Minutes later, another kid came walking up from nowhere. As he was passing by, it appeared that he was aligning his hand to pass over the candy bowl to make a quick grab....We watched.

His hand swiftly passed over the candy, and dropped a crisp $10 bill in the donation jar....We called to him, saying, "Hey, do you want a piece of candy?!" and he walked away with the same stoic determination as the kid who stole the candy just minutes before him.

He's my new hero. Giving so much, and taking so little....and not even making a big deal about... is he the silent hero?? lol

I have been buying sandra plastic pants from WESTONS INTERNET for a few years now and found the service excellent till now, my last order a week ago has not turned up and despite emailing them have received no reply, cannot find a phone number for them either, although website is still going.

My order was for £100 plus so a lot of money to loose and wished i could contact them somehow as emails have proved useless so far.

Please help.

Are there any online counselling services that work for a 50 minute (approximately) instant messanger type service that aren't too expensive. Preferably someone with some kind of psychology degree. Any psychologists one here?

my mom died 2 and a half years ago and my grandfather 2 years before that my husband is not very supportave and has had 2 heart attacke i have very brittle diabetes which he thinks is nonethong and on top of this i have two teen age daughters one 18 and one 16 who think their dad has all the answers my father had his girlfriend of 25 years move in with him 2 months after my mom died and now refuses to help my children or his new great grand child out because he has been an alacholic for 30 years and has given everything to his new wife that belonged to my mother now he is taking out her family to eat and ignoring his own family and making us hurt uncontrolaby. He has said he has a new family and we are nonthhing to him. he almost died 2 months ago from alachol poisning and is saying if it wasnt for his new wife he would have died. all he could talk about when mmy mom died was her insruance money he would get while she was in her bedroom dying. my question is i feel hurt through it all

She calls it Justifiably paranoid.. Its not.. She thinks she was cloned way back in 1982, the government is after her and countless other unjustifiable "theories". Sha has been sick since 1991-ish and refuses to take medication. I love her very much and I got all my good qualities from her. She was once as close to the "perfect mom" as one could be.. Now though, she wants to talk about her wild and crazy theories, and if I put in my opinion, she just shoots it down immediately.. Tries to make me feel stupid actually.. Religion is another big issue with her and I just don't want to discuss it with her.. I cannot let her be around my two children because she warns them of the horrible world with graphic mental pitures... I have no idea what to do with her anymore... Any ideas?

I Hate waking up each morning Due to That I am Very Depressed at this time each day!!!!! As The morning goes on I start feeling Better !!!!! All My problems are very clear in the morning. I look so farward to getting into bed and going to sleep....... I have this for years. I am going througe HELL NOW with no work and mounting Bills. my dad just doesnt 'get it', he should be in a mental institution, but he rules over me and makes me look like the crazy one, i give him my power, and i have nothing left. today was the first time today how i acutally saw he does this. how to conquer him so i can get my power back, and not be so afraid of what he says and to stand up for myself so i dont end up in a hospital.?

I just want to snap... I was on anti-depressents for 12 years and got off of them about a half a year ago... I feel much better off them but now stress with my family the past 3 weeks is making me want to find the highest building in town. Im having thoughts of just going into my basement and hanging myself. I refuse to go back to anymore theRAPIST or taking meds or any more of that... im done with that all. I cant leave my house either, i have no where to go, no car, no money... No friends to take me in or family... Im seriously just thinking of pitching a tent in the woods somewhere and freezing/starving to death. When will it get better? I cant take it anymore... im inching to close. I hate being weak.

i've recently been told by some of my family that my great-grandfather has been having hallucinations of a man in his closet. He says this man is sueing him for $26,000 dollars, and the story is the same everytime he tells someone. My great-grandfather is in his late 80's and in not-so-great medical condition and has a live-in nurse. Is this hallucination due to old-age, or is it a disease?
