Take a couple of minutes to relax. And before you take the test, try eating some "brain food" - in particular, they say red meat and fish (like salmon and mackarel) really help you to focus. I also hear that chocolate helps females focus as well.

I suggest that you take a break. After you have taken some time to relax, I would look over your notes and see what the teacher has put lots of emphasis on. Make sure that you understand what mistakes you have made on previous tests and quizzes.

My math teacher actually says that it's not helpful to do a bunch of problems. Instead, she suggests that you make a list of different procedures that you need to know, and just study that. She says it cuts down study time and it doesn't clutter up your brain with pointless information. If you know how to do a kind of problem, it takes up less time and space than knowing how to do a bunch of specific problems.

As I said earlier, just relax. If you get really stressed out, it's possible you'll miss problems even if you understand, simply because you're stressed and nervous. If you can relax, take a deep breath and do what you know how to do, you will be much more successful.

Good luck!!

greater effective help! quite some it. talk it which includes your college counsellor and math instructor. If this instructor would not omit it adequate ask if the are young ones that tutor. If that fails asks to be replaced to a various math type. provide up stressing first of all. That makes you panic and sparkling out what you do know. merely make an effort and do your superb. you may marvel your self, yet a minimum of attempt. in case you fail, you %. your self up. dirt your self off and use the three techniques I reported. :-) stable success

I just saw a show on taking tests and the biggest thing was to get plenty of sleep and eat good food for breakfast. NO SUGAR, it's sort of freezers your brain from thinking correctly. That means no sugar cereals! Good luck!

I know it always helps me if i take a half hour break or so to exercise or read a good book. Sometimes taking a few minutes away from the problem can really help you to focus on the task at hand when you return to it.

firstly, don't study continuously. take a break of 5 mins after every 45mins because studies have shown that after 45 mins of continuous study, our brain loses the capacity to learn and understand. also put on some soft music(not rock) because it helps concentrating on questions. and also after u have finished studying, relax for a while, give some rest to your brain so that solve the problems more easily. try understanding the basic concept and do only imp. questions rather than all of them. have some confidence in yourself and u can do anything.

First of all relax. then drink some water and have snack. then study in between it will cool you down. Don't worry or panic that makes you forget things. just relax and study. Let someone help you study.

As my teacher would say, don't just study the math, do the math. Do lots of examples so that you know how to do it. Make sure you know why it is being done, too.
