I used to sleepwalk for a few months when I was about 8 years old. I was sleeping at my grandparents' house and I woke up and went downstairs to the room where they were watching TV. I started swearing my head off (in my sleep.) They figured out I was sleepwalking because my eyes were half closed.
My grandmother would never repeat what I said that night even to tell me the story.. Must have been pretty bad! LOL

They didn't think I was faking. I can't remember any of it. They were just laughing at me the next morning.

I have been sleepwalking on and off for the past month. I sleepwalk to get my daughter in the middle of the night (she's 1 month old). It's kinda scary, because I might drop her and not know it, but the doctor doesn't seem to think it's a big deal. She says it's b/c I'm over tired.

I heard that one time this guy sleepwalked to his car, drove across town, and killed his parents in the middle of the night, then went back home and went back to sleep. he woke up the next morning with blood all over his clothes. the courts found him not guilty because he was sleepwalking.

Sleep walking is not rare. Many adolescents do it. It is called
somnambulism.
My "most extreme" was dreaming that I went to the market and bought a certain product. When I awoke, I went to the kitchen thinking I'd have it. Was I surprised, and confused! It seemed so real!
Wonder what I did buy?

My roommate (who walks and talks in her sleep often) grabbed the hairspray out of the bathroom and then came out into our living room, set it on the table, laid on the floor and went to sleep. I was watching TV the whole time and asked her what she was doing and got no response. When she did wake up, she had no idea that she had come into the living room and didn't remember any of it. It was really bizarre.

. I have been having major spells of sleepwalking. In one of the times a few weeks ago, i actually got up, said i was going to punch someone for not having Citrus Tea apparently, and i actually CHASED my friends around. I even chased them around outside, got punched, fell off the trampoline and tried to go into the Junkyard. All without waking up. They also said that when i crawled back into the top bunk of the bunk bed (i cant get up there by myself when im awake) and i asked them how i did it and they said they had no idea (im not tall enough without help). So when i pulled myself back into the bunkbed on top the went upstairs and when they came back down i was gone. then they went back up looking for me and after searching for a while they came back down and i was back in the bunk bed. again on the top bunk. They apparently even had to knock me out completely so that i wouldnt try to catch them anymore. And on top of that, when they tried to carry me back down they dropped me

hello...i have slept walked several time..im 23...and i was at a friends when i was about 8 and i slept walked through their house....this wasnt a rare occurance for me though...i done it quiet often...when I was about 15, i slept walked and in my mind thought it was daytime and i was getting the lawn mower keys to go "mow" at like 3am....luckilly my grandpa was awake and led me back to bed...i somewhat remember this happening too...

I think maybe we sleep walk for a variety of reasons...maybe stress causes it???or maybe we just are dreaming and think we are awake when we are sleeping...
