Anyone have these issues like me? Here's my current meds: Verapamil, 40 mg 3 times a day, Trileptal, 300 mg twice a day, Midrin, Requip. Since taking this cocktail, been tired, however, my cluster headaches seem to be gone, head just fizzed out.
Before I was getting cluster headaches 3 times a day, around 2:30am, 1:30pm and 9pm. Felt like a brain freeze and lasted about 2 hours. So far so good. Feels like the head still want's to attack me, but it's like loaded with novacaine.

Oh my dear sandiego.....I too have been plagued with several of your conditions. I was given Midrin years ago and found that it didn't work at all! I'd had migraines and had success with Cafergot but after years of lying in darkened rooms with a scarf tied tightly around my head, overwhelming nausea and regurgitating....my Portuguese doctor said that he thought my problem might be "organic" (i.e. sensitivity to certain foods, drink, etc.) OR emotional. I finally figured that my horrible headaches were stress-related and the stress was a bad marriage. I divorced my Husband, moved back to the USA and NEVER had another headache! RLS: I was on Trental for years & years and recently started drinking Schweppes Tonic Water (I prefer diet) and within a few weaks, the symptoms disappeared COMPLETELY!!! I'm not sure what OCPD is (do you mean COPD?) so I can't help you there. BPD can be caused by many things but it could be that the culprit is the same thing (or person) that is the source of your headaches. Do you drink alcoholic beverages? Booze can be a trigger for many symptoms and take it from me (been there) doesn't help you at all!! You are taking a lot of meds.....were they all prescribed by the same Physician? If you are seeing a doctor and a therapist, make sure they both know what meds the other is prescribing because you could be suffering from drug interaction. Do you lead a healthy lifestyle? Eat nutrisously, drink enough water, get enough sleep, have an outlet for your stress? Are you in turmoil with any of your relationships? So much can affect our bodies surpetiously. This may sound like a soapbox sermon, but 3 years ago, after 13 years of caring for my elderly Mother (and 3 years before she died last November) I thought I was loosing my mind and one May evening, I sat outside searching the heavens for some sort of "sign"......I sat there sobbing and asked (in my case it was God) for guidence, strength, grace and serenity. It wasn't long before I began to feel an inner peace and focus that kept me going and gave me a clarity of purpose that to this day, I treasure with every ounce of my being. I hope you can find peace and grace in your life and that your pain & anguish subsides.
Blessings!

imo, protect your child. He is a minor and can't protect himself. Your partner needs professional help (which I take it he is getting b/c he was diagnosed and has attempted suicide). You need to put your energy into being the guardian and protector of your child. I apologize if I come across as harsh. I have dealt with a boarderline at work for 9 years. The term boarderline is used because it is an emotional intensity disorder in which the person goes (boarders between, hence the term boarderline) between psychotic and neurotic. The are not classified as pschotic because they don't stay that way all the time. Take a look at your partner's past and present. Do you find he either hates or loves the person (and can flip between the two) and there is no middle ground? Do you find that in their life they have left a trail of destruction in their wake (not only full scale temper blowups and character assasination by your partner), with peoples lives, or at least their relationships leveled to the ground? Do you find that if they are upset with someone, it is not mild, but furious--and that they really want to see horrible (and I am speaking literally--horrible) things happen to the person they are upset with? Do you find that underneath it all your partner fears abandonment? If yes, this is a boarderline. PLEASE SPEAK TO A THERAPIST ABOUT A BOARDRLINE AND WHETHER THEY CAN BE HELPED. imo and therapists I have spoken to the answer is no. Treatments (the VAST majority of the time) don't work. Please don't take my word for it, ask for yourself. I am jaded. My life professionally and personally was DESTROYED by the boarderline I worked with. Boarderlines are also excellent liars, because they truely believe they are right and what they are saying is right. Someone told me once that when you are in a room with a boarderline, their intensity disorder is such that it can feel like all the air is sucked out of the room. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PROTECT YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY. THE SOONER YOU DO THIS THE BETTER. G-d bless you and good luck.

Have you tried therapy or a treatment for the borderline personality such as DBT? Talk to your doctor about your side effects and possibly other options.
