yeah, need to go to the doc. but i just moved, all that's active is medicare, transportation is iffy. upper abdomen, more toward left, back hurts too, mild nausea as i said. bending over, laughing, coughing, lifting...all are quite painful. lying down is problematic...i rested well from 4am till 1pm, which was good. don't think food poisoning, no one else in the house is sick, and the nausea is really quite mild. it's the pain and weakness that's killing me...well, not really. this just hit like a ton of bricks by the way. i don't want to get stuck with some hideous medical bill if my insurance decides i wasn't sick enough after the fact, especially if i go to a clinic and they punt me to an ER. anyone have a clue? oh-was just on steroids, if that helps. for asthma, not to hit home runs...

I have been experiencing mid to lower left back pain on and off for a few months now. It seems to occur at night and I can't sit, lie, stand etc in comfort. The pain extends into my chest cavity and when I get upset or anxious because of the pain it makes it worse and it hurts when I breath. I have no breathlessnes or anything just pain. I went to the docs and they discluded kideny problems (no other related symptoms and clear urine) I had xrays which showed slight scoliosis (which I have known and had for ages). She put me on anitiflammatories which seems to be helping. But I am now getting pain in my mid lower back and I feel very. very tired(even before going on the anitinflams.). Only just the other day I had some chest pain as well. if anyone has had a similar experience with a diagnosis or suggestions please let me know. I have had fullon blood tests which shows consistant low iron (taking iron and multivitamins too) and a colonoscpoy but everthing is showing up normal.

Had arthoscopic knee surgery 10 weeks ago. Currently have pain in the back of my knee and down my shin. Wakes me up in the middle of the night. Doctor says I have severe arthritis on the outer side of my knee but the inner side is okay. I am on pain meds for chronic pain due to MS. Take Opana ER 20mg every 12 hrs and Opana 5 mg twice a day for breakthrough pain. For the arthritis I take Naprelan 375mg (2) at bedtime. Very stiff when I get up. Knee locks up. Can't walk normal because of the pain. Very slow too. The surgery was to take care of torn menicus. Thought I should be better by now. Actually I feel worse. Suggest x-rays or MRI? Anyone experience this kind of pain? Any thoughts of what it could be?

When I yawn or chew with the right side of my mouth, or when I get up quick, the right upper part of my head hurts. It feels more like a headache when I get up, and the others feel just a little different, kind of like a muscle, but there is little difference. The pain is in my right upper part of my head. The pains only last about a second or two after yawn/chew, and the same when I get up fast. It feels like pressure in my head, like a headache, but stops fast. The pain doesn't come randomly, like when I sitting down, and it's pretty much just with those things happening. I don't think that it's a tumor though because I don't have nausia or random headachs, longlasting headachs, or seizures. Is this something to worry about?

have been to foot Dr. had 5 shots of cordizone in left foot, right one was ok at the time. shots didnt help. went somewhere else ,i spent $350.00 on arch supports that not only hurt my ARCHES,but now the right foot has the same problem. can anyone recomend a brand of shoes with good padding in the heal.the supports are hard,i cant see how that is suppose to help the pain when i am walking (i am a waitress on my feet 8 hrs straight)
.when i get home and rest, and then go to get back UP I have fallen 3-4 times,as the pain is just awful. once i am up the pain lessens but dont go away.
I am back to ice packs.

My father is 80 years old and has a lot of trouble walking. A specialist told him he needs surgery but we as a family fear that he might not make it through surgery or the long recovery/rehabilitation.

My dad just wants to be pain free again. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am really beginning to worry about myself but I think it is just stress that is making me this way, not something really physically wrong with me. For about the past month and a half, I have had a non stop tension head ache, it is nothing unbearably,a constant dull ache.I also am having trouble talking kind of.(not as bad as it sounds) i just stutter over words and it takes me a while to gather my thoughts. Its also little things. Like i was making flashcards and i was going down the list. and I looked up for a second and then i looked down at the list and i had no idea which flash card I was on. I think that is because so much stuff is going through my head, i was just copying words not really processing them. I am a hypochondriac so of course i think i have a brain tumor. I was looking for a little reassurance. I am hoping to find some ways to relive my stress(any advice?) and see if my symptoms alleviate. has any1 experenced anything like this? should i go to the dr. or wait?

My leg is weird. I'm talking about the backside of my knee on my left leg. You know how in the middle/ towards the inside of the leg, there is some sort of lump? It's a vein or artery or something. Whenever I am in health and we're talking about bones and ligaments breaking, when I see blood, and last week watching Grey's Anatomy, it feels funny. Almost hurting. I have to move it slightly up and down when it does that. What is wrong with me? Is it normal?

I was just diagnosed with degenerative disk disease, route nerve impingement, and arthritis in my back and I am in a significant amount of pain. The doctor gave me Motrin 600. It does nothing for my pain. He didn't give me any advice on how I can help my back. I tried to go to Urgent care and they turned me away. What do I do and why don't they care?

I am 36 years old and have suffered fro the last ten years or so.I get headaches that escalate so bad that i violently throw up and my head feels like it's gonna burst. My bp and pulse go up sky high. When they are severe like this i have to go to the ER where i am treated like a junkie, sometimes they dont treat me at all, they give me 2 ultram and tell me to go home and sleep. The few docs who do treat me give me iv fluids, for the pail they give me diiaudid and iv phenergan for the nausea. The pail is so intense it sometimestakes 2 shots of dilaudid to work.I am at my wits end,i.ve seen so many neuros, tried so many migraine meds, antidepressants, pretty much exhausted every option.I have seen several docs and they all seem to play the same recording. They all say narcotics are not the answer but what du you do when they are the only meds that work?I live in the MB area of S.C.knows a pain doc who aint afraid to do narcotic long term treatment for headaches, please tell me.(Please Help Me)
