Sounds a little like pharyngitis, an inflammation of the tissues in the pharynx (back of your throat). I had this about 3 years ago and what you described fits it completely. You'll need to see the doctor and get prescribed medication, most likely an antibiotic. Good luck.

TAKE HIM WITH YOU AND GO FIND A N EIGHBOR WHO'S HOME.....if he's really in some kind of danger, this isn't something you can handle.... and why are you two not in school?..... don't leave him alone.... take him with you.... it's possible that the fresh air and moving around will help some, too..... if you have no neighbors at home , then as a last resort, if he's no better in a few minutes after walking around with you, then it's time to call mom and dad wherever they are... at work?.... if it gets WORSE for the boy, then call 911.... they'll deal with it and the parents and all..... go now...

Personally, I would see your doctor as soon as you can. You probably need antibiotics. In the meantime, get a glass of warm water, put a teaspoon of salt in it and gargle till its all gone. It clears the c r a p from the back of your throat. Even if you get antibiotics, continue to do this as it clears a lot of the bacteria and your throat will be back to normal in no time

Sounds like you need some antibiotics, i would go and see your doctor as i don't think it's going to get better with out medication. In the mean time you could try sucking a ice cube or eating some ice cream it might help sooth your throat till you get to the docs. And take some pain killers,IE, paracetamol.

I'm sorry you're in pain, it does sound like Strep. Go to the dr. tomorrow, or since you're in a lot of pain go to the ER and get some antibiotics. Best of luck to you hope you feel better!

Go to the ER. The Dr. can check out your throat and get you on medication. Your other option is to use chloraseptic spray or lozenges to decrease the pain until you can get in to see your family Dr.

go to a doctor. Get some prescription. Don't strain yourself. have boiled and cooled water only and have it often. Else you might get dehydrated.

It must be sore throat only but you did not deal with it properly I guess.

Get well soon.

If you think you can stand it then wait until morning and see your doctor. Otherwise you might want to make a trip to the ER...the pain will just get worse overnight. Best Wishes!
