had a severe fall and broke a small bone in my upper arm. had physio, painkillers not a lot of relief would like to try tens machine, but not sure if it is safe

It started yesterday. I was hoping it would go away by today but every 5 minutes or so it comes back. When it's most intense, it feels like piercing or pressure in a small area (not large area). Sometimes it goes away about 5 minutes an sometimes it linger on mildly for many minutes or even hours.

Previously I had a different type of pain in my chest and I had an ekg done but there was no problem.

There is no history of heart disease in my family.

I think if it doesn't go away by tomorrow, I will definitely go to the doctor but if it's normal, is there anything i can do?

I am taking 2 types of medication for my acid reflux I can't take any type of pain reliever, tylenol, midol, pamprin etc.. haven't had sex in over 2 years, finally had sex this past month now I'm having the WORST period! please help is there any remedies to make me feel better? a pal told me to eat yogurt.?? I can't have anything with cheese, chocolate, tomatoes, spicy, onions, etc.. Please help!

on my left side under the breast and went around my back now it has went all the way around to my right side, anybody any idea what could be causing this as it is very uncomfortable, had it for 4 days now, been to see doc and he says it is ok just take pain killers but it is not getting any better, grateful for any advice thanks

So i've felt sick since yesterday, my throat is super sore and my nose is really stuffy. I tried gargling with salt water for my throat but that didn't help. Nose drops aren't helping my nose. I don't know what else to do, i hate feeling so sick. At least my muscle pain that i woke up with this morning went away. But still i can't stand my throat and nose.....ps. i already took tylenol twice for my throat and it's not going away. What else can i do?

My back has been hurting for a while now its not really consitit or anything so i wasn't worring about it (I'm 16 girl) anyway tonight it really hurts like my left shoulder blade when i sit and then if I lay down its my lower back a little below my wasit i have no clue whats wrong we're tryin gto make an appointment with a doctor soon but until then anyone have any idea what this might be?

It has done that for as long as I can remember. It doesn't hurt if I wear a scarf and keep my neck warm.

I wouldn't know where to start looking that up.

My doctor has prescribed several different pain meds to assist me. I have a medicine cabinet full of vicoden, percocet, darvocet, tylenol w/codeine, motrin etc. The problem is that these pain meds do not agree with me. I take the recommended dosage and at first my pain subsides but then I start to get really dizzy, my speech gets slurred, and a little while later I begin vomitting. This happens with every pain med that is prescription strength (even on lower doses). It seems that I can only take over the counter pain meds but they do not work as well for pain. I end up taking waaay more than the bottle suggests before the pain subsides. I can finish an entire 24 capsules of ibuprofen in 2 days. I know this is not good but I don't know what else to do. Does anyone else get sick from prescription pain meds? Have you found anything in prescription strength that works for your pain without those horrible side effects?

I had a spinal tap to diaganose viral meningitous 9 days ago. The proceedure it's self was not that painful. The Dr. heavily medicated me just before the procedure knowing I was absoluletly terrified do to a "horrific epidural experience" during childbirth. I had the expected headache, but was on high does of pain killers anyway for the meningitous. Now that I have recovered from my severe neck pain and headache, I am left with a very sore low back and ackey legs. I am walking at a snails pace. My Dr told me not to take any asprin or motrin for inflamation due to the higher risk of Reye Syndrome that could develope after a bad viral infection when taking those types of medications. This is all across my very low back, like a wide stip going from hip to hip. Has anyone else
experienced low back pain after a spinal tap? How long does this last?

I have always had backaches, as long as I can remember. They used to tell me it was growing pains. That was 10 years ago and I still have this problem, and it seems its getting worse. Its the upper back, mostly, right by the shoulder blades. I have a phsical job and get excercise, and am very careful that it is not caused by that...I have been home sick for days now and it hurts worse than usual.
Any ideas or other experiences with this sort of thing? Thanks

Help!!!

okay i have this weird spine thingy, and its getting progressively worse and alot more painful im only 14!! my mom keeps sending me to this chiropractor but i dont believe what she is doing is actually helping it just hurts more and more and more, i litterally almost started crying in class because of the pain. But my dad is so stubborn he believes that it all is in my abs and that i just need to rest and do situps and it will all go away. They keep fighting about the steps i need to do to get better! i dont agree with either! and there not listening!!!!!!! Help please someone just tell me what to do!!!

Its not my knee cap in general thats giving me a problem, but each time i am sitting in a chair and my leg is up under me and i go to strecch it back out i can barely move it. it feels like a mussle problem. do we have mussles around our knee cap?
the same problem happens when i walk..anyone know what could be causeing this. has happen the past week everyday

he went to hospital today opthalmic said cant find what wrong why his having pain in righ side of his eye.told him come back thrusday at the mean time still having pain even though he put the 2 eye drops the doctor prescribe today.

I've had every pill possible from the Dr. for migraines.
I had a MRI and nothing
I've been to the dentist, chiropractor, regular Dr. and Eye Dr.
I'm going on a month with a headache that has not went away. I have even tried Darvacet and Tylenol 3 no Luck
Please any advice....
I am taking iron pills.

I assume that it has to do with nerve issues but, right where my arm is joined with my torso I have a pain that will begin and go nearly half-way to my elbow, the pain is sharp as if a hot knife were being inserted, and it leaves the skin in the area numb, I'm losing my ability to play tennis due to this fact...Please do help if anyone can.
