If the eye doctor checked eye pressure AND looked for a particle in or behind the eye and found nothing... then Maybe it is not related to his eye.
Is your husbands blood pressure normal? Headaches?
I hope he finds the answer quick.
Good Luck~

Dont know for eyes
other - Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas (natural muscle relaxers) daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.
Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.
The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).
For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

There are quite a few possible causes. If his vision is blurry & light hurts his eyes it could possibly be glaucoma. See a doctor right away. If the pain seems to come from behind the eye and involves some of the following, severe headache, dislike of bright light, pain when bending forward, drowsiness or confusion, you need to see a doctor right away. Did the doctor check for a foreign object in or behind the eye?

First of all do you know how the pain started, if so please forward it to me. Second of all if the pain is to excrutiating go to closest emergency room and let them check him out. Next thing is to remember that all doctors answers to problems are pain killers try your best not to get involved in those things. They are very very addictive and have you tried the herbal stores too see if they might have anything but tell him to hang there I' ve been suffering for the last year still no fixing to my problem but do not get discouraged hang in there put your trust in GOD AND things will get better for both of you my wife and I can feel both of your pains. So will try to give you some advice just write back when possible.

have you ever considered a gastroenterologist? no longer merely an primary record. everybody is prevalent with you could stay with no gallbladder. Does he produce different indications? fever or vomiting or diarrhea? Does he take each of the medication as directed? Ulcer, H. Pylori is dealt with with antibiotics, nexium and some different med i won't be able to imagine of now. Gerd is dealt with with nexium, prilosec, zantec, Reglan etc. Does he have scar tissue from previous surgical procedures? ( adhesions). hiatal hernia no longer a huge deal until eventually it truly is authentic clarification for indications (GERD) Is it his appendix? has that been CT'd? Has he tried benadryl? for allergy, does he take alot of motrin, aspirin or drink alot of beer or alcohol? he's desires a professional except those you've considered above. that is no longer melancholy, so do not allow them pull that form on you. you want the physician on the suited of the kind, no longer the bottom.

keep searching for a doctor who 1st of all actually believes you and 2nd is willing to solve your husband's problem or will provide pharmaceutical relief. pain is a thief. it steals your time, life family, jobs, all the things that make life worth living. After 10 years I was blessed with a physician that cared. get away from this MD and find a healer, before pain steals the things that matter.
