I suffer with severe leg cramps, especially upon awakening. I need to find some relief because I am afraid to go to sleep for the last four days. They are like super charlie horses that last for ever it seems.I scream and cry like a baby, it's really embarrassing, but I have a great family who tries to help me with massages.

I've been having on-and-off chest pain for about two years. I'm currently 18. When I first started having them, I went to the ER a couple times, but apparently chest pain in minors insn't taken so seriously, so I was sent home with tylenol or antacids. Saw a cardiologist, GI doc, GP. Had an EKG, stress test. Everyone told me it was probably anxiety.

So, it comes and goes, and recently it's coming again, and it's quite uncomfortable. Just sharp, to the slight left of my breastbone, fairly often, with no correlation to any habits (eating, exercise, laying down). I don't know what to do. It isn't so much the pain that bothers me (I'm used to it), but whatever it could signify.

Has anyone had any similar experiences?

This is new for me. I am 35.
About 2-3 weeks ago I threw my right leg up on the counter to reach something in a cabinet, (like I've done a million times before)
Yes, I know I should have used a chair or stool...
Anyway, the joint inside of my hip popped. It has not been the same since then. Its not a constant unbearable pain, but it sure is uncomfortable when I move my leg a certain way now.Like getting in and out of the car. I can no longer sit indian style. Or many other ways now...
It has brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. (only when I move it a certain way) But then eases up.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Should give it a little longer to get better?
I just wonder if it could be more serious than I realize?

I'm a healthy, 20 year-old woman, who regularly suffers from headaches (they have migrane symptoms although I've never asked for a doctor's diagnosis). For several years, I have found that I develop severe headaches-- localized to the back of my skull-- if I lay down too long without sleeping. This happens regardless of what firmness my pillow is, or how my head is elevated (although removing a pillow and laying completely flat reduces the pain after it starts). The good news is that this reduces the amount of time I spend in front of the TV. The bad news is that I just recently discovered that no one I know experiences this, so it's apparently not typical. Can someone tell me if this is another type of migrane or a tension headache of some kind?

I have a sever needle phobia and will be getting a test done Tuesday with an IV. I am freaked out and my doctor knows how bad so he is going to give me a sedative. I was wondering do you have any tips? Will the sedative make me unaware of it and take away the pain and stress?

I have been suffering from chronic neck pain over 7 years now. I have had 2 mri's, a ct scan, x-rays, numerous chiropractic visits, meds such as amytriptoliene (sp) & feldine, and have just recently been told it "might" be TMJ. I have no other symptoms such as my jaw does NOT make a popping sound or hurt in any way. Any suggestions or info is very very much appreciated - thank you in advance.........

My physical therapist says my back pain is due in part to different leg sizes. She says I should correct by permanently wearing a gel rise in shoe of shorter leg. Does this make any sense (diagnosis and remedy?) I have been alternatively diagnosed with pelvic imbalance and sciatica

I read that it takes away the pain faster and you get high. I've had all these surgeries and I am 14 years old. My next surgery is in a few months. I had surrgery last month, and the pain is killing me. He gave me morphene, but it wasn't strong eenough. I've been given percriptions for oxycodone on and off for 4 years, (i've had 5 surgeries in 4 years, my first was when I was 11) dso i've built up a tolerence to it. So I took some last night, and I have a doctors appointment coming up soon. How long is it going to take for the oxycodone to work it's way out of my system. All I did was want the pain to stop.

I walked on it for 6 months before the pain made me go to a DR. After another 6 months and an MRI they found a hairline fracture that had not healed right. The pain is much worse now. I have NO insurance, and am forced to go to a free clinic. I cannot work, stand, sit or lay in one spot for any length of time. I recently developed some bad side effects to Ibuprophen, so I'm back to aspirin. Strongest meds I can get at the clinic is Vicodin, and they only give me 30 pills for 90 days. I have gained weight and I'm miserable, the pain even interfears with my attention span and memory. I have nightmares where I'm being tortured. Does ANYONE know of a Dr that will see me in the So.California area for free? Or any other ideas for medication that I can safely use that is LEGAL? I believe that I also have Pagets Disease of the bone, but the Clinic has thus far refused to test me for it. Is there any testing being done out there that I can get in on, clinical trials??? HELP! I'm 49.

I'm on the computer 8 hours a day, primarily for work. I've started to notice my wrist tightens or locks up on meafter I've been on the computer for a while. It hurts! I'll stop for a bit, stretch, let it rest, but when I get back to work the pain starts all over again. I'm pretty much shot for the day. What can I do to relieve this pain? It's only my right wrist. (So of course I'm right handed.) Then every once in a while I get this striking pain in my hand. It's annoying b/c I want to work more but I can't. I'm only 25 and this is my livelihood. I'm a writer, so I'm a bit worried. Any ideas? Also what kind of doctor would I go to for this?

I have 2 different kinds of pills , one is blue, oval, and says G3721.
The other one is a very light orange color, has a symbol in the back that i can't describe what it is... it has the same shape as the "red ribbon symbol" and the minus sign on its side ( - ).
Does anyone know what it is? I remember asking a friend if he had some sleeping pills and ha gave me a bunch of different ones, he kind of told me what they are but now I have no clue... Thanks

My ankle hurts to the point of almost not being able to walk. I don't have arthritis, I don't remember twisting or spraining my ankle, it's not swollen, or discolored, even the emergency room couldn't find anything after 3 x-rays! I seems to hurt more after a lot of physical activity or a full day of work. (I work at Home Depot and walk on cement.) But it can also hurt just by sitting around, or after a night of sleep, so yeah, why ouch?
