I'm a nurse. Try eating. Sometimes migraines come on by a missed meal or stress. Find a happy place (try to any way). You can also take one Tylenol or a ibuprofen for the discomfort. I hope this helps. Oh chocolate will work too.

Usually when you get a migraine few remedies are going to help. I had to choose a new career path due to my headaches. Anyway, since you work at a computer, the computer screen is the problem so try not to look at the screen over a prolonged period of time. Rest your eyes every few seconds by looking or glancing somwhere else. Also sit upright in your chair with your head straight forward not to the side or slouched. Headaches can be provoked from irregular spinal and neck positioning.

Immediately at the onset of the headache drink a glass of water and take an asprin. (I take Tylenol Extra Strenght). Also go take a breath of fresh air for a few minutes. That's about all the pointers I have. I have had headaches most of my life so it should really be helpful. Remember take lots of breaks at work ...if you can.

Best wishes

Take a five minute break evy 45 minutes and look at something other than the monitor. Get up and walk around if possible or go to the bathroom. I usually take Advil for my migaines which helps within 50 minutes. Take it when you get home.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or neck. Headaches can be
caused by minor problems like eyestrain, lack of coffee or more
serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and
meningitis. Taking painkillers continuously can have harmful side
effects, so it is better to modify your lifestyle. More information
