This is new for me. I am 35.
About 2-3 weeks ago I threw my right leg up on the counter to reach something in a cabinet, (like I've done a million times before)
Yes, I know I should have used a chair or stool...
Anyway, the joint inside of my hip popped. It has not been the same since then. Its not a constant unbearable pain, but it sure is uncomfortable when I move my leg a certain way now.Like getting in and out of the car. I can no longer sit indian style. Or many other ways now...
It has brought tears to my eyes a couple of times. (only when I move it a certain way) But then eases up.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
Should give it a little longer to get better?
I just wonder if it could be more serious than I realize?

Sounds like you might have sprained your hip, and the joint is now inflamed/irritated. (The audible “pop” and difficulty sitting with your legs crossed are key signs). If that’s the case, your condition is musculoskeletal, and not “serious”, however, you do need to get it check out by your doctor. You've given it a few weeks to improve and it hasn't. If it continues it might begin to affecting your day to day function more and more. I’m guessing your physician will give you an anti-inflammatory medication and/or send you to physical therapy. Until you get in and see them, try icing the your hip and taking Aleve, Ibuprophen, or Excedrin—something over the counter that will help with both pain and inflammation.

Go get a massage from a therapist that knows what they are doing. You might have a strain or maybe the hip joint has a sublaxation.( a dislocation that "pops" back in.). It will make a lot of normal moves hard and some impossible. Talk to your doc and maybe get an x ray to be on the safe side.

Peace

Well it could be a number of things. If you think there's a possibility you could be pregnant, get a home pregnancy test. My hips and knees hurting me was one of the first signs that i was pregnant. Other than that, it could be stress, not getting enough calcium AND vitamin D, not being on your feet enough, or being on your feet too much... Personally I would go to the doctor, and maybe have some tests done for vitamin deficiency, or high stress levels first.

It is not normal.
Get a strong round magnet. Put South pole on pain site. Keep magnet away from heart, brain and earth, keep it on wooden plank.
30 mins seating at a gap of 10 hrs will help.

This could be because of muscle fatigue or dehydration. Try exercising all parts of your body. It also sometimes is due to disuse atrophy. Try out some home remedies. You can also look for information in the web that give you home remedies. I found this website very useful. http://aches.in/cramps.html
