This is a problem that has just recently started. When I lay down at night, my ears sometimes get totaly plugged up, both of them. So bad that sometimes I cannot hear my alarm clock go off, and it is loud. This only happens at night, I have not been sick with anything for a while and there is no pain associated with this at all.

I got into a car accident 2 months ago, and since then I've had a lot of breathing and chest problems. Also back problems but I'm not sure if that is involved. Anyways, a while ago, I was wheezing really bad, and my chest was really hurting. After a while, that went away, now, I'm starting to have trouble with breathing altogether. I'm starting to get really short of breath, and it feels like I can't breathe in all the way, and when I yawn, it also feels like I'm not yawning all the way. I tend to let out a really deep breath every little while or so, like I have been holding my breath. But the thing is, I don't mean to hold my breath if thats whats happening. A little help? Its really starting to interfer with my school sports and I don't know if I'll be able to continue on excercising and staying active if this keeps happening, thanks!

Michael Moore said that we're the only country that denies people healthcare all in the name of money. I won't debate whether it's true or not but it got me thinking.
I have family in China and quite a few times I think they have been overtreated. for example, a relative started puberty at an early but normal age her parents got concerned so the doctor put her on hormones to stop it so she could grow some more. The hormones left her much shorter than she was suppose to be. Since she was short the doctor then started prescribing growth hormones. Pretty much someone jsut has to say I have an ailment and the doctor prescribe something. I started puberty at the same time my relative did and every doctor I went to in the US prescribed exercise. I turned out fine. I then found out from a friend there that it's common practice over there.
So which is more dangerous, denying a patient healthcare or overgiving healthcare?

Ok, so I give blood every four months (everyone who can do it should, I reckon), and I'm not particularly squeamish. But when they take the needle out, I go so pale, and I nearly black out everytime. I'm a normal weight, I don't watch them take the needle out or anything like that, I eat healthily and I always drink plenty of water before I give blood. Does anyone have any idea why this keeps happening, or does it just happen to everyone?

I havent been feeling well, lately, just a few problems...... I get very sharp pains through my chest, sometimes they throw me to the ground, and I am not sure what makes them happen as they occur under different circumstances. I have been feeling consistently tired, and even though I get a lot of sleep, I still feel the same. I also tend to feel quite dizzy at times (no, Im not blonde :P). Sometimes I have to grab onto something to keep myself up. Is there anything serious going on here, or is it a lack of some protein or something? Thanks, for any help!!! :)

My next door neighbours are. I never hear them laughing and she is always complaining about something. They are both retired and all they seem to do is potter about in their front and back gardens.

I think my doc prescribed way too much. It's for a yeast infection. He prescribed me 30 10mg tabs to be taken over a month, but I've heard of people taking just a single dosage. Is he wrong or ill informed about this medicine?

Maybe break down the standards to include height to weight ratios and have people weigh in when they get there drivers licences renewed... or have to go to court for something...

I am 44 and going through the change of life. Right now I am right in the middle of PMS and Menopause. The doctor told me I would have headaches but they are really bad ones. I do cold packs and I take Advil for the pain. But mine last at least 4 days or more. Is this normal for headaches to last this long when going through Menopause?

Please be gentle with your answers. I am very serious and I am hurting a lot. This months period was the worst. I felt so abnormal. I was not myself at all. I felt really off balanced.

Thanks for your help
