Say when ANYONE gets to 300 Pounds they HAVE to join a MANDITORY exercise program?

Maybe break down the standards to include height to weight ratios and have people weigh in when they get there drivers licences renewed... or have to go to court for something...

Excellent Idea but not with government intervention.Other wise we would find 400 pounders loafing around with weight-certificates of 200-220 pounds obtained through bribery and other considerations.Weight aspect say, more than 20 % excess ,could be included in medical fitness as a disability cause, like other causes of non fitness. Also the requirement of a medical certificate may be expanded for say, part time jobs, bank loans,college/school admissions and so on.The key result areas should be handled by public organizations than by a government.,Once again, thanks for a constructive idea.

It sounds like a good idea from a health stand point. But .... making it mandatory... getting the government involved.... not such a good idea. It would be taking away people's rights and lead to more rights being taken away. Its like taking away abortions and birth control and tobacco and alcohol.... where do you draw the line?

No, I would not support such a thing. The government is already overly involved in social engineering.
