Could it be because:
1. I get between 6/7hours sleep and have to get up at 6am (all summer I slept in to about 11!)
2. I don't have a good diet but I eat breakfast every morning no matter what the stomach forecast is
3. I get nervous easily.. I don't see many people here in the country and then when I get to school.. BOOM!

I get a really sick feeling in my stomach every morning.. it lasts all day.. with a few headaches included.. I drink 2 painkillers.. doesn't do anything.

I can't enjoy making new friends and stuff with this bokey feeling... really sux.

Do anymore students have this? why is it?

Its Thursday, I started to feel under the weather on Sunday.

I worked Fri-Sun 12-13 hour shifts (I am a dance teacher and cherographer). I was off Monday (Labor Day) and Tuesday and was in bed both days because I wasn't feeling well. I didn't keep myself well hydrated over the weekend and I was thinking I was exausted from working so much/so hard.

I returned to work Wednesday and started to get flu like body aches. My throat hurts and I need to take 1000mg of tylenol every 4 hours because I have a pounding sinus headache. I am off work today, which is Thursday, and I am considering going to the Walk In Clinic where I don't need an appointment. Its $70 a visit and money is tight. I need to feel better I have to work again all weekend, same amount of shifts.

Should I go to the doctor? Does it sound like I am getting the flu? I just feel sick. What do you think they will say or prescribe for me? Is there anything I should ask for? I am allergic to penicillin.

Thank you so much for your help :)
Blessed Be ...

I have heard this "cold turkey" wen I was looking for ideas on how to quit smoking.
What is cold turkey? And any suggestions for me to quit smoking please? I prefer suggestions that do not involve nicotine gums or patches or any such tertiary stuff.

I have been smoking for 8yrs now. I smoke 8-10 cigarettes a day. It used to be 10-15 wen I worked night shifts.

I even tried to quit totally once and I went into depression. But then, I had no job either and that was nagging me. But now I have a good job and still can not quit smoking. Everytime I try to reduce, I miraculously meet smoker frnz and start smoking.

But 1 thing is for sure-

I WANT TO QUIT SMOKING.

HELP!!

I'm not looking for a prescription. I'm only able to get 6 or 7 hours sleep before I HAVE to get up. I have lots of things to do as a single parent and not enough time to do it in. I'm constantly tired during the day and the sleep I get doesn't feel like good sleep. I drink coffee throughout the day but it doesn't seem to help much. Ephedrine products went off the market a few years ago so I'm trying to find something to help me stay awake longer and be more alert. Please no speaches about needing rest and whatnot. I can't get any more sleep and the coffee isn't working. What can I do?

I need to be in bed by 9:30 pm and right now I am wide awake. If I can't fall asleep by 10:00pm I won't be able to get up at 6:00am tomorrow. I don't want to have to run around and stuff like that and sleeping pills are bad for you, plus I am under 21.

My ex-wife and i went to this doctor seven years ago. He became our primary. We divorced 5 years ago. I don't like this doctor and it is not convenient to where I live.

Should I just go through my hmo list and find one local. How do I go about finding a doctor I will like? I am in my mid thrities and am realizing that I really need to start going to a doctor regularly.

I always shower at night and then if I workout I usually take a quick shower afterwards, so sometimes twice a day. I've noticed that my roommates shower once every 2 or 3 days. I think it's a little gross. Am I the weird one or are they?

My friend is around 63 and all of a sudden for the past few months has had nervewracking twitching in her one eye. She has been to eye doctors, regular doctors, and even a chiropractor and none of them can identify or cure this twitching. Any ideas on what it could be.

Hi, an x-ray and CT scan showed a mass approx. 9cm by 6cm between the heart and the lung, behind the lung if that makes sense. A biopsy has been done and an appointment made for 3 weeks time, so we had been advised not to worry about cancer, my mum has never smoked etc.

However, my mum is worried about how it will be removed, as she didnt recover well after surgery recently.

I know it might not have to be removed, but does anyone know how it might be removed?

Many thanks

I got tired at 9:45 last night. I was lying around in bed until 1 AM, when I had way too much energy and started walking around. For about 45 minutes -I think- I've been online. Previously I tried meditation, reading, listening to relaxing music, changing the temperature of my room, putting socks on, taking them off, just lying there, and trying to convince myself I absolutely had to stay awake because that used to work, a hot shower -taking a bath requires removing the spiders from the tub, they run when the shower water starts-, about a quart of chamomile tea, and visualizing first sleep, then general relaxing stuff. No luck.

Meaning I've been up for about eight hours, tired as all hell but unable to sleep. I don't think its dietary, the only sugar I had today was some ice cream at about 4:30 and canteloupe for breakfast.

I've got to stay up today but I know that tomorrow I'm still going to have trouble. What can I do, if medicine is unavailable?

I'm not on any meds.
