Some have it, some don't...what difference does it make?

if it's to keep the pills from moving around, they should make smaller bottles...

I thought the cotton could probably be to retain the humidity or something...

The cotton balls are there to protect the pills durring transportation. I don't know why some don't have it. It used to be that they all did.

cotton forms as an insulator to keep meds from moving around and deteriorating.

Tablets will get all crushed up bouncing around the bottle. Caplets and such don't have that problem.

it's only there to keep the contents from shaking around and possibly crumbling during shipping. i've no idea why some have it and some don't
