Hi. I would start with your regular doctor. That is if is not too bad and if it just started recently. If the pain or disconfort is too much and it has been going on for a while(2 weeks or more) I sugest you go to an Ortopedic Doctor and he will tell you what is wrong with your knee. If he finds out you have arthritis or if you already have arthritis you should see a rheumatologist. I have problems with both my knees for over 5 years now. Hope you get better. Good luck....

Yeah, I have that main issue too. I injured my knee years in the past, however you (and your mother) and me have what is known as "shifty knees", that means fairly a bit of of clicking and cracking. Varying climate will make mine act up, primarily it aches, and I cannot hold my leg nonetheless for lengthy (I need to be capable to lengthen my leg, no longer hold the knee at a ninety measure perspective at all times). I had surgical procedure on them, which helped, however they nonetheless trouble me, and I consider it is whatever you need to are living with. It sounds such as you must see a expert, and perhaps have surgical procedure like I did to be able to decrease the severity of the soreness. By soreness, I imply at the back of, above, and under the knee cap (patella). I'd ask for a referral out of your GP considering you're no longer experiencing developing pains. Additional expertise: I under no circumstances have worn knee bands, even after surgical procedure. I did not uncover they helped in any respect. To be slightly extra special, correct now as I variety with my laptop at my lap, each and every short time I need to lengthen my legs, and my knees crack. If I do not do that, it is painful. Just ask your GP for a referral to a expert. It might take a whilst, however they are going to be capable to support you.

You'd have to see your primary care physician first, but you'll probably end up seeing an orthopedist.
