Ok it's 4:00 AM I'm a little tires but I can't sleep!!! I woke up at 2:00 PM today but thats becuase I've been sick what should i do????

I have been having pain in my side for a little over a month now.
Where the pain is sometimes moves, when it first started it was in my lower right side, really close to my hipbone. Now it has moved up more to under my ribcage and it gets more severe after I have eaten. Sometimes it is in my left side as well, also under my ribcage. My white blood cell count is also high. I went to a surgeon who thinks it is most likely my gallbladder. My sonogram came back normal and so I had another test done the other day, I forgot what it's called, but they gave me something to make my gallbladder fill up and then made it contract. I should get the results back in a couple days but does anyone know what exactly this test will tell me and what they might recommend for me? And if it isn't my gallbladder, what else could it be?

I do know that it is not appendicitis, they have checked that several times, and I don't have a UTI or kidney infection or anything, my urine and bloodwork are clean.

It was fairly big, and one big hard piece of something? Maybe skin? Could it be part of my umbilical cord from birth that is just now coming off?? It was black on one side and was quite hard for him to pull out, like it was attched.

My Dr. prescribed Ambien and Ativan for anxiety that I have at the moment. The directions say to take 1 - 2 Ambien 10mg at night and 1mg of Ativan every 8 hours for anxiety. So, lastnight I took 1 Ativan around 6 and 2 Ambien at 9. I slept great. However, today, I feel hung over! I feel like I could sleep all day long. It's 3:30pm and I still feel this way. I haven't taken the Ativan today because I'm trying to shake off feeling tired. Has anyone here every taken 2 Ambien 10mg?

I was wondering if anyone had any great tips on recovering from tonsillectomy. I'm scheduled in less than two weeks and am 33 years old. I've bought jello, pudding, popcicles, cool mist humidifier. Plan on asking for lots of pain meds. Can anyone think of anything else that will make life less miserable the first few days or week??? Thanks!!!

I use my glasses when I want to see something far or see the board at school. I know that my eyesight will not improve 100% but I do want some sort of noticeable improvement. I don't want to wear my glasses anymore, its making my vision worse becuase my eyes are depending on it, any suggests?

I have a terrible rash on my ear and my scalp from my hair dye, it itches like crazy and it's inflamed. And there's little bumps on my ears.
Anyone know if expired Amoxicillin will still be safe and effective to take?
Any other ideas to help an ear and head rash??

Does any one else have a fear of falling off a treadmill to the extent that you are too scared to even get on the treadmill?

I have had this fear for ages, i need to use a treadmill because they are pretty good for workouts so if any one could offer advice on over coming my fear i will be very greatful.

for the past 2 weeks or so i've felt completely exhausted and sluggish from the second i've woken up in the morning, and spend all day yawning my head off! finding it really hard to get the motivation to do anything active, just feel like sleeping all the time and it's really getting me down, would it be worth taking a couple of pro-plus a couple of times a day? are they addictive? i have tried changing the amount of hours i sleep ranging between 6 and 12, and nothing seems to help, im still waking up shattered... any ideas?

It's only my 1st day of giving up and already it's driving me crazy! Im sat at work which makes it harder coz im used to going for a cig quite regular during my working day! I've already smoked 3 pencils and a permanant marker!

I sit next to this guy at work who is 25 years older than me, smokes, has asthma, is 50 IBS overweight. In fact, he is in such poor health he will be lucky to make it through the fiscal year. Yet we still pay the same amount each month for employer covered health care.

I think the reason that health care is so expensive is that the people making bad decisions (i.e. the fat guy that sits next to me) don't have have to pay for their bad decisions. Wouldn't universal healthcare just be this on a massive scale? Also, the really poor people get medicaid and don't pay their bills anyway, so what is the difference?

alot of the time when im just about to fall asleep i get really dizzy in my head like im spinning around and have to kick myself out of it to stop it! and sometimes when i wake up i cant move and have to wait a few seconds and force myself to start moving again by straining to move untill my body jolts into action again! is this normal?

I am 14 years old, 5'5 and 98-100 pounds. I got my first period in February this year. My dad is 6'2 and my mom is 5'5. My doctor orginally said i was supposed to be 5'10 [because i was very tall as a baby] but then as i got older he said around 5'7. Will i still grow even though i got my period and im only 5'5?
