I walk every night after dinner. I am contantly doing something with my children. I have all but given up bread. Is there a pill that will help me? Before I quit I weighed 125-130 now I am tipping the scale at 160.

You need to cut back on your portion sizes and increase your exercise. Keep a log of what you eat for a week and then reduce your calories to 1200 or 1400 per day.

I am taking Chantix right now and the only side-effects that I'm experiencing are wicked mood swings and totally messed up dreams every single night. Oh I almost forgot, I have been eating like a ravenous dinosaur. It's a really weird drug. Take the big doses twice a day and strap yourself in.

And the news doesn't get much better either, Tish. Sadly, most medical insurance companies--eying Chantix's popularity--are backing up Pfizer's price gouging of the product and by virtually pulling away client co-pay assistance.

The notion is brazenly simple:" You're an tobacco addict. If you want Chantix, you'll pay for Chantix--set at OUR price--and it's HIGH.....so PAY UP!!!!"

It seems in corporate CEO world, multi-million $$$$ retirement packages are popular now.....so prices everywhere are bound for the ceiling.....especially Chantix.

Pfizer has a backup plan in the event people take a stand and boycott the product. Pfizer will bed State lobbyists for contractual sales of Chantix to prison inmate populations; they'll get the stuff for free and we, the taxpayer, will pay for them to have it.

well first of all smoking is an appetite suppresant. Most people who quit find themselves snacking in replacement of a cigarette. You just need to give your body a chance to alter itself to deal with the new changes. You've fed your body nicotine for 17 years, so its used to not eating as much. Keep up with the exercise, and definitely watch what you eat. When you are feeling like you need to snack, drink a glass of water. Most of the time when people want to snack, they are really just bored or thirsty. It'll work.

But really it's better to have a couple extra pounds, instead of lung cancer. I'm glad you quit!!!!!
