I usually fall asleep around 12, and I want to fall asleep at 9:30 or 10 tonight to get up at 6 tomorrow. I usually go online for a while, then watch TV as I fall asleep, and I know I shouldn't. What can I do to fall asleep earlier?

Why is it that when you have a nap in the day you are always cold when you wake up (even if you're covered up), yet after a night's sleep you don't wake up cold in the morning?

MY KIDS GOT SICK, 5 DAYS AND COUNTING. Will Peter Pan step up and do the right thing? Telling us to throw away the containers is WRONG. They want to make sure that the consumers can not prove it was the peanut butter that made their families sick. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE JARS. Photograph and keep them sealed in a location where your kids can not get them. When the REAL strory breaks and we all see what they were or were not doing, we will need those jars.

I was just wondering if it would be okay to get the ear wax removed at hospital's every six months be okay? I had some ear wax removed a couple days ago and the doctor told me that I should go in every 6 months to get them cleaned out and I was wondering if it would be a good idea? Would anyone know if it would be safer seeing this doctor again or go and get something at the store and remove the wax myself every so often?

I'm sick. When I woke up at noon, I went to the bathroom. While I was washing my hands, everything started getting dark. I felt like I was gonna black out. Something similar had happened when I was sick a year or two ago. And that time when I splashed water on my face I was fine. So I tried my hardest to finish washing my hands without falling over. And I did. Then I splashed cold water on my face. I still couldn't see too well. Somehow I managed to grab a towel, and then I started trying to find my way back to my room, which is right across from the bathroom. Like the doors are about two steps away from each other. At this point I was still seeing everything dark, and I couldn't make anything out. I remember running into a buncha stuff, and that hurt. I made it to my bed, and closed my eyes. When I opened them a few seconds later I could see fine. I realized I had knocked over my guitar case, and dropped the towel. I took IBprofen and now I'm icing my forehead. Will I be OK?

Why do they only include 2 viral types of the many that cause cancer and include 2 types that only cause warts. Likely they will come out with a complete vaccine that coincides with the date the current vaccine comes off patent. Thanks again Merck for leaving out the Vioxx data and lying to the public and Doctors.
Its important for all the chemistry posters to realize there are 4 viral types in the current vaccine 2 are for cancer and 2 are for warts. I am saying substitute cancer causing types for the wart types that are currently in the vaccine.

In view of one story in the paper today"86yr old lady dies on ward with maggot infested wounds".
My question is as the daughter was a senior nurse and there were complaints about her mothers treatment from various relatives instead of complaining why did they not do more to ensure her personal care if they could see what was wrong.
Even if it meant doing the job themselves for thier much loved relative,It seems they had the knowledge but did nothing or are they now suffering from guilt complex and so have registered a complaint about her care.
I have nothing but admiration for the care I have recieved in the past from the NHS but if needed my wife or I would take our relative home to nurse and make sure there was proper support care that is available in the community.

Recently for the past week, i've been noticing very aggressive headaches before I go to bed. The headaches are then followed be light headed feelings and dizziness. I am not on any medications and cannot figure out why this would be happening. I do not do anything that would lead this on. I do not work hard nor stay up late. My days usually 6-7AM til 11pm-12am They continue to bother me until I fall asleep and can still feel lightheaded come morning but I usually just end up walking it off. I've tried St. Johns Wort (I use that as an alternative instead of antidepressants for about 3 years now) because it helps me sleep but that alone isn't helping my headaches. What could this be? Thanks.

i tried softlens but it was horrible i had to keep on using refresh tears to help it keep supple. im on a tropical humid climate near the sea(Mozambique) and occasionally i venture to drier climates. does any one know a brand that will be good in these types of climate?---price is no object. i would also prefer dailies because cleaning the lenses everyday is such a hassle.

Of course, between you and me, Mr. GorgeousFluffpot (being a man) is convinced it's the onset of influenza, pneumonia, leprosy, whatever ... you name it, he thinks he's got it!
But he's in bed feeling sorry for himself ... so what advice can you give him, what funny story can you tell to make him feel better.
All replies welcome.
Ten points and a very fluffy kiss to the best answer!

I have this average poor guy working hard to earn money to go to college and his eyes are like a mix of yellow and red. Well, his eyes are like chinese, so if I open them up, the upper part of the eyes, which are hidden, are so healthy clean white like never been damaged. And the lower part of his eyes, the part he uses everyday, is so yellow and red veins all over it. He used to work on construction, and other jobs that are body damaging. Like the cement entering his eyes and damaging it. I let him try this eye medicine my mom's doctor prescribed on her when her eyes got cement on it. And his eyes didn't heal like her eyes did. I know his eyes are already used to getting dirt on them and my mom doesn't.But is there some hope or way so that his eyes can get healed and become as white and healthy as the upper part of his eyes?I'm really really desperate.I don't want him to someday be blind because of this.He works really hard now that I'm in his life and don't want him to lose his sight
