That sounds like a pinched nerve or it could be nerve damage. You should see a doctor, tingling and numbness in digits or extremities can be signs of serious nerve/circulation problems (not trying to scare you!). If this just started happening and is intermittent it might just be a pinched nerve in your arm caused by sleeping funny.

the ulnar nerve passes by the ulna (the bumpy point on your elbow). this nerve supplies the fourth and fifth fingers on the hand.
