MY KIDS GOT SICK, 5 DAYS AND COUNTING. Will Peter Pan step up and do the right thing? Telling us to throw away the containers is WRONG. They want to make sure that the consumers can not prove it was the peanut butter that made their families sick. DO NOT THROW AWAY THE JARS. Photograph and keep them sealed in a location where your kids can not get them. When the REAL strory breaks and we all see what they were or were not doing, we will need those jars.

We were lucky. We have a 6 lb jar from Sam's Club of the same stuff with the code 2111 and thankfully we have not gotten sick. My son eats tons of peanut butter (very picky kid). We still have the jar but are not eating it. My mom was not so lucky. She had a half of a piece of peanut butter bread on Monday night (she puts it on so thin that you can see the bread right through it) and started to getsick on Weds. She is still throwing up a bit and having diarreah. She said she doesn't wish this on her worst enemy. The doctor told her she just has to wait it out though. I would love to know what this company plans to do for the people that got sick!

Question where do i go if i think my jar has something wrong with it. I ate some peanut butter about a week ago and was deadly sick for 6 days afterwards. I still have my jar and it has the 2111 on it but i dont know if i just came down with the flu suddenly or something related to the Peter Pan. Anyone know a place in Dallas Ft Worth Texas i can go to confirm my jar had something wrong with it?

I thought I saw on the news that they had issued a recall for Peter Pan peanut butter and another off brand made at the same plant as being contaminated.

We had the Great Value Brand (Walmart Brand) and thank goodness we did not get sick. We has 2 more jars in the cupboard with the 2111 number on them and were planning on taking them back to Walmart and getting our money back, and will buy Jiff from now on. Forget the savings.

there has been a recall recently on some brands of peanut butter. call the number on the container to see if it is involved in the recall.

I ate the generic version, which was made at the same plant. Thank goodness I didn't feed it to my 20 month old son, because today I am suffering slight symptoms.
