Looking on info on becoming a cast technician in the othopedic field. Would like to know how long it takes and where to train for this.

Generally this is on the job training. Check with some orthopedists...maybe send a letter of introduction to all those in your area...and see if they are looking for someone or know of an MD who does.

Is that even a real job? Call an orthopedic office and ask them how you would go about it.

i always wondered why do u use plasters when its better to leave the wound/cut/ ..etc to dry out !! wouldnt it be better to let it dry out by air and sun rather than hiding it under plasters and making recovery slower !!! also sometimes making it worse if left wet or damp !!!!!!!!!!!!!
