We just got a cat three days ago and all of a sudden I've ended up with a itchy throat and a white thing on the back of my throat...

My throat doesn't hurt and I've sneezed like twice in the last two days.... I thought maybe it was because of the cat or strep or probably just a virus going around.

I have not eaten properly for over a year and I've suffered sever hairloss. I've started eating properly again according to my nutritionist and the food pyramid but I'm still sadly watching my hair fall out and I'm wondering how long it will take for it to grow back? My nutritionist told me it would take some time but I'm wondering just how long exactly and is there anything in the meantime I can do to keep my hair from continuously falling out!PLEASE HELP!

Occaisionally when I jog in the evenings, in the field behind my house, ATV riders will kick up a whole bunch of dust. I obviously inhale some of this while jogging. Therefore, how harmful is it to inhale dust periodcally in this manner?

Paramedics in Canada, have in the past been told to hyperventilate head injury patients to decrease ICP. I know that I have recently read studies and different guidelines that do not recommend hyperventilation prehospital at all. I am interested in hearing any input either for or against. I have been searching the Canadian Heart and Stroke guidelines for anything related and I can't find what I am looking for. Also, if any medics from other countries have any protocals or guidelines for the same you could share.

I read recently that coffee enemas are the new 'thing' in certain parts of the world. Apparently it is supposed to clear our your rear end thoroughly..and probably means that breaking wind isn't entirely unpleasant for other people too.

I have 2 questions about this:
1) What is it that makes coffee enemas better than water enemas?
2)how did they found out that coffee enemas are so good? Is there some guy in a lab trying out different juices, colas, lagers up his butt before finally discovering that coffee hits the spot?? Does this mean that expresso or cappuchino will have different effects??

(ok thats 3 questions)
