I just finished finals and like a couple days before they started I got this wierd red rash on my inner thighs, stomach, and chest. It itches sometimes and its bumpy and dry. The bumps are scattered and vary in size. Do you think the stress of finals caused it or something else - Ive never had this before

Been suffereing from severe pain in the neck and unable to do much with the right arm due to twisted spine. Going to Chiropractor 3 times a week but hasn't helped much. Been working with computers for past 15 years and the diagnosis is that sitting in front of the computers for long hours probably with incorrect posture is the cause. Anybody else have this issue? Is there a cure?

I twisted my knee trail running at the end of April, to me it felt like a tear or sprain along the outside of my knee. The doctor told me to take it easy, apply ice then heat for 15 minutes each 3-5 times a day and my knee ahould get better within a couple of weeks.
It is nearly 2 months since my injury and I am still limited to short light walks on flat surfaces. I cannot use my knee to climb or descend stairs. I have been unable to go back to work because it requires me to be able to walk, bend, twist, use stairs all day.
I went to a second doctor who advised me to start doing light leg exercises with no more than ankle weights. But I found this only worsened the condition and i even stopped walking for a week and a half.
I don't understand why they can't immobilize my knee for 1-2 months so that it has the chance to heal and then I could work on strenghtening myself (there is no physiotherapist in the area).
I am also worried that my knee will not heal for a long time.

I was looking around in the shed and knocked the shelves the wrong way or something, a hammer fell on my thumb...

I'm unsure if anything's broken, but the thumbnail is bruised and perhaps cracked. I iced it and the bleeding stopped (it was bleeding only moderately if that), movement is fine but painful. In case it means anything, I feel the blood pumping in my thumb.

Should I be concerned? I think it's ok, when I was little, my big brother threw a very large rock (more than 10 pounds) right on top of my third finger (he didn't mean to...I think), and though it indeed fractured it it healed in less than a week and a half. This isn't as severe as that. Still, I would appreciate any advice.

I got into a car accident yesterday, my neck hurts bad today, didn't claim it though the insurance company. But I'm wondering if I have whiplash could it go away on it's own, or do I need to go see a doctor. I just didn't think whiplast was to serious? Thanks!

I have a flap of skin that is adhering to underlying tissue but is pretty deep. I'm no sure if I should leave it open to air or put on steri-strips. Neosporin or No?

My friend was at her boyfriends house when he says she had a seizure. She has never before had a seizure. He said she fell to the floor with the seizure, he had to use CPR to resusitate her, she then threw up, and he put her to bed. When she woke up she had no recollection of what happened, she has a bump on her head, a gash on her lip, scrapes on her back, and a broken collar bone. This all happened on a carpeted hallway floor. Her boyfriend is sometimes abusive. I'm wondering if these are common side effects of having a seizure.

I am also experiencing pain in my throat when I swallow, but only on the left side. My PCP could not feel or see anything, so I am seeing a specialist next week. But if anyone has any thoughts, that would be great.

I fell and injured my knee over two months ago and never had problems walking on it. I had it x-rayed and examined but was told nothing was physically wrong. It was a contusion. I had fluid, which has finally dissipated but I'll scratch an itch on my knee and be reminded how much it hurts to touch some areas of the knee. This makes me afraid to work out on it. Do contusions like this take this long to heal or should this have run its course by now?
