Yes, it's possible. But chiropractors aren't the ONLY people who can treat you without meds or surgery. Go see an osteopath who practices OMT, (osteopathic manipulative therapy). It's sometimes similar to what chiropractors try to do, but DO's have MUCH more education and training in the principles and practical applications of the information. They are usually much more proficient in the applications.
After all, DO's are doctors, whereas chiropractors are not. No matter what a chiropractor calls themself, they are NOT a doc.
Oh, and I have a rib that is constantly "out". I have a sacral dysfunction that causes me to overcompensate to one side. That's why my rib goes out so much. It's on the opposite side of my scaral issue.

Absolutely - people have done it rock-climbing,boating, skiing and snowboarding, and in martial arts (Kalib-Dislocated Rib) among other things. Ouch.
The doctor may manipulate the dislocated rib to return it to its normal position. Manipulation should be done within a few hours, if possible. After that time, internal bleeding and displacement of body fluids may lead to shock. Also, many tissues lose their elasticity and become difficult to return to a normal position. Rib dislocations that you can "pop" back into normal position occur repeatedly.

No I dont think so. I think in order to dislocate something it has to have a joint, like when you dislocate your shoulder.
You can bruise your rib, crack your rib and fracture your rib...

no, you cannot dislocate a rib, it is attached to a larger structure. It does not move like a joint, hence cannot be dislocated.

yes of course it happens quite a bit, it is called a rib subluxation, it freakin hurts like hell, I recieve treatment from a chiropractor to get rid of this problem. Chiropractors are the ONLY ones who can treat this without surgery or medication.
