Stay with them and be kind and gentle. Is the memory loss permanent? Often, memories can be recovered, it just takes time. The most important thing you can do is to be supportive and take one day at a time. If they reject you completely, then take a step back and carry on....remember in this case it is nothing you did wrong. My wife developed Schizophrenia 14 years ago, and it is similar in that she stopped considering me her Husband. I was left with a 4 year old child to raise on my own, so I focused on his needs as they were far more important at the time. My wife went back to her home country where her family is and her medical system is doing a better job than ours to care for her. I still love her, and I still mourn the loss of our relationship, as it essentially ended by her hand, so what could I do? Move forward, not back and tried not to blame myself or her as it was nobodies fault.

I would stick by him for as long as it took to regain his memory. I would show him pictures and tell him stories of our past to help jog something in his mind. But I know I would never leave him.

if you love him enough I would stick by him and show him picks of both of you. Maybe that will help his memory. First impressions are everything. Give him time. Be there for him.

I would definitely feel bad..I would go and try to talk to my lover, saying who I am, using pictures of things we have done together and places we have been to.
I would dedicate my self into getting things as close to normal as possible.

Stick with him or her. Memory loss is usually temporary. If you leave, he or she will be very hurt when they regain their memory.
