I just finished finals and like a couple days before they started I got this wierd red rash on my inner thighs, stomach, and chest. It itches sometimes and its bumpy and dry. The bumps are scattered and vary in size. Do you think the stress of finals caused it or something else - Ive never had this before

Yes the rash is called Pityriasis Rosea and is caused by stress. It is a pink and oval shaped rash.

Yes stress can cause a whole host of problems. The best remedy is to take a break from everything. Go to the beach if possible, and relax. Or go to the movies alone and just relax. Take a Vacation. Just do something to chill.

Stress can cause that. But, stress is not the only thing that can cause a rash. If you haven't changed your soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc, than it probably was stress. If you have changed the kinds of things listed above, it could be an allergy.

Do you wear jeans alot? If you do, it could be the soap in the jeans or the jeans are keeping you too hot. You dont need to go to the doctor, just visit a pharmacy, there should be an over the counter medication for that.

Go see your Dr.
There are a million rashes and just as many reasons. A medical professional needs to see it to diagnose it.
