Just a few minutes ago my son was stung by a wasp. It was rather big in size and I killed it and saved it just in case I have to take him to the hospital or the dr. He seems to be doing fine and only have the usual reaction of swelling in the area he was stung in.

I was wondering what are the warning signs of an allergic reation to stings? If he was going to have one would he have had one already by now. It has been over 10minutes and I am watching him very closely but the only problem that he seems to have is discomfort from swelling. He is currently playing as he usually does and doesn't seem to be showing signs of any allgeric reaction.

Is there any way to help the swelling in his hand go down? He is a 2 year old so ice packs and cool wraps are out of the question. Is there any sort of balm or whatever to put on it to make the swelling go down?

I was playing street hockey for about an 1hr 1/2 (It is -10 degrees). I went in and noticed my legs felt really cold. I went in the shower and noticed slight bluness, so I put the warm/hot water on it and rubbed it. It went away(bluness) and its only been slightly red for an hour or so. I put on pants, and I am keeping it warm now without any rubbing(it does not burn that much any more). Is there anything wrong?

A few days ago a small blister formed on the inside of my pinky. I don't know where it came from but it really hurt because it was right where my pinky bends. I used a clean needle to let pop the blister and then put a bandaid on it so the skin would not tear. I filled up again and I did the same thing. But this time it filled up with pus. Could this be some kind of bug bite or what is going on?

I know that some people like to use the Avon product skin-so-soft as a mosquito repellent. My question is this: Which skin-so-soft product is the one to use for this? I see they have bath washes, bath oils, moisture lotions, and etc. Which one of these is the one that works for repelling? Avon has many products in the skin-so-soft line to choose from. I also see that they have a skin-so-soft bug repellent now. how do these smell? do they smell like other bug repellents, which is awful in my opinion?

i got my ear pierced at a 14 gauge and that was on january 7th, it is now march 6th, and the ball on my earring has fallen off and i cant seem to get it back on, should i be fine to take it out without fear of it closing back up?

I've got a splinter that I've been trying to remove from my finger. I've used tweezers and I think it's a little too deep for that. I've also used a needle but I'm just making the site irritated and a big hole in my finger. I've waited for it to remove itself a couple of days to no avail. I don't want to go to the doc but I don't want to infect myself.

My ear was pierced on friday. But on saturday i told my oldest sister that it was in to tight so as she proceeded to loosen it the whole earring came out.(keep in mind this is the second day) so it took us about twenty minutes to put is back in. Then my ear began to swell, bleeding and become extra sensitive. So what should I do?

My little sister has just burnt her arm on the stove! She's 5 years old; she tried to climb up on the stove right after I had finished cooking and her left arm looks badly burned.

I've wrapped a cool cloth around the burnt arm and I'm giving her a lot of water to drink. I'm not able to get her to the doctor until my parents get home late tonight. What else can I do for her?

sorry cant remember the name but i know you apply it to a cut and its supposed to stop the blood flow.It comes in a metal spray bottle and is antiseptic aswell.Want to try it for my boys but quite exspensive.need to know to if it works.many thanks

I cut my index finger pretty badly a few days ago. I have not gone to the Dr. for two reasons, no insurance and the cut runs from the top of my finger down the side of my fingernail-even if it needed to be stitched there is nothing to sew it to. I am keeping the wound clean and full of Neosporin. I have also had a butterfly closure on it, but I cannot keep a bandage on it. Does anyone know the best way keep this covered?

I got an ear infection in my left ear,now when i got checked out he just said i was diagnosed with ear infection,sometimes i stick my finger in my ear a lil to pop it and i can hear better b cause i cant hear out of it unless sound is really close to it,its like water in your ear.i got some antibiotics and some ear drops 4 my ear,so should i not worry about it...or is this a sign of me goin deaf
