Pull up her eyelid and pull down her lower eyelid then check and see if you see anything. It might be just an eyelash hair. Sometimes those things lay in right at the base of the eye. I get them too.

If not check the eye to see if there is a cut or wound on it. Sometimes when I have a small wound on my eye, it feels like something is in.

make sure you flush the eye very well. When using a wash cloth remember to wipe away from the tear duct, if you don't you can irritate the eye further.

If you do not see anything you may want to take a trip to the doctor or ER. If they have a cut in the cornea you will not be able to see it! They will have to put an ointment in the eye and then look at it with a special light!

If she still feels something in there you may need to take her to the hospital and have them shoot dye into it and look for a scratch of the cornea...it is an irritating feeling and feels like somethings in there when u can't seen anything..My son did it when he was just over a yr old , pulled of his sock and scratched his eye in process...too wierd ! But it happens.
PS the next week he poked me in the eye and scratched mine :-(

try to find a Small cup. fill with luke warm water line it up with eye tip up side down and hold for a couple of seconds just enough to get her to blink a couple of time. That for sure should get anything in her eye.

she could've had a dream that was life-like. get her to calm down by playing with fav toy or by fav show. you panicing or fussing can make her more upset. If her eye is red after she calms then go get it look out or even if the eye is not red and your gut is telling you to go to the doctor

It could be one of her hairs. That has happened to my daughter.Keep splashing it with water, and dabbing it with a wet cloth.See your doctor if it doesn't shift.

yes if it is still bothering her, take her to the emergency room...she probably scratched her cornea in her sleep and that can be very very painful.....
