First off, you need to determine the severity of your burn(s). A 1st Degree burn is nothing more than a sunburn. 2nd Degree burn are more severe and damage more than the top layer of skin - these burns can cause pain, swelling, and blistering. A 3rd Degree burn is the most severe, damaging all layers of skin and perhaps muscle and tissue. These burns usually are painless due to nerve damage. If your burn is severe, please seek professional medical attention as soon as possible.

With a wax burn, I am assuming that you have either a 1st or 2nd degree burn. You should run cool (NOT COLD) water of the burned area, make sure that the area is clear of any kind of dirt or debris, and wrap in gauze or a clean, soft, dry cloth.

Do not use any kind of ointment on the burn. Just keep it clean and dry. If your burn is minor (like a sunburn), keep it clean and you can use a product like Solarcaine or Aloe to keep the area moisturized and also some of the products have some sort of "numbing" agent (such as lidocaine or Xylocaine).

Hope this helps!!

First of all where is the burn? You should put an ointment on it, and then cover it with a Band Aid. Would u have any antibacterial creme, or any kind of ointments? Or u could tryv rubbing alcohol, or peroxide. Well just follow my direction, and u should b fine. But I am not sure where u burnt urself. Well I wish u luck.
