ok im 16 and for the past few months my arms and legs and just my body in genral have been kinda twitching its not noticable to anyone else but me is kinda like it jumps for a half a second..when i think about it ..it seems to happen alot more..then when im doing something and not thinking about it i hardly notice it all..i went to a neroligist(sp?) and he did like a basic exam and tested my reflexs and other stuff and he said everything was normal...this has been happing for the past 5 months..it comes and goes..im scared i have like als...or ms or something...what could this be if the dr said i was find...also sometimes when im writing or playing a video game my fingers kinda become stiff...im really worried and im freaking myself out

Can someone (occupational therapist?) explain to me how i can get off the ground? (Not right now, off course...LOL) I am terrified about falling! Can't be on knees, can't push off knees or wrist. Would I manage the "splits" and creep hands back to center of gravity? Other?

i got them done at claires and thy gave me a bottle of some purified water to put on my ears well im stubborn and i put some rubbing alcohol on my ears thinking that would be better than the stuff they gave me!on the bottle it says if your ears swell up see a doctor and take the earings out but my parents dont even know got them pierced yet!

My right eye(broken eye socket) is still swollen shut, and i have been using ice constantly, any suggestions, any personal experience with this,my left eye is extremely swollen too, barely open and i want to prevent it from shutting. I cant go to school like this so i need help. thanx :)

Ok i just played powderpuff football (flag football for girls) in like 30 degree weather and (not sure if this is sigificant, but it was not fun) and not sure what happened but once i could feel my toes again my leg started hurting. I am use to bumps and bruises but this doesn't feel like that. both sides of my leg hurt and are very very tender when touched. i don't remember getting hurt at all so are there any other reason why my leg may be in so much pain?

I've pretty much "plugged" my nose by pinching it my whole life when I have to sneeze. If I don't it seems like it makes me have to sneeze a lot more. The problem is that for the past couple of months whenever I plug my nose and sneeze I get this severe pain in my left arm. It starts in my shoulder and works it's way down. The best way I can describe it is by calling it a "severe ache". Sometimes it only hurts for 30 seconds or so and sometimes it lasts for minutes.

I know it's bad to plug your nose and if this pain persists i'm going to have to stop. But does anyone know why this could be happening? It might sound silly but I associate pain in your left shoulder with a heart attack.

For anyone that might want to know, i'm male, 5'11", 24yrs old, 200lbs.

i smashed my face against the wall and i got a small bruise and a bump on the bridge of my nose. i put ice on it. how long would it take for the swelling to go down? is there anything else i can do to make the swelling go down faster?

I broke my foot at the base of the big toe with joint damage and soft tissue damage. After 4weeks wearing the hard sole shoe I am starting to have a pinching pain over the top of my big toe joint and there is an indentation that wasn't there before. Any help?

I was playing soccer and i was hit really hard in the face with the ball, now both of my eyes are almost swollen closed. how can i get rid of the two big black eyes, and i heard that if someone has 2 black eyes that they might have a broken nose, do yo think this is possible? please answer, i am in alot of pain and can only see out of my left eye, i dont want it to get worse.

HI! I live in Europe and the reason I post this question here is because it is too late at night to call any of my family and friends for an advice. I managed to hit my head into a concreet pillar this evening (It is almost comedy story), and i have two cuts , just under my eyebrow, about 1-1,5 centiemeters long. They stoped bleeding after i desinfected them but seem to be deep. I wonder if I need stiches? In what cases are stiches made? And if I need them, do I need to go now to the emergrncy room or is it enough to wait till morning? I mostly expect answers from poeple who have qualificatins in the area of medecine. Thnak you in advance for all ur care and answers.

two days ago, i was at track practice. it was my second day of practice. when i got home, i had the BIGGEST headache. its been two days since then. ive taken tylenol PM at night, and ibuprofen during the day.... and its not gone.

the pounding is on the top of my head, and the edge of my forehead. also, one random spot in the back.

when i was in 7th grade, [im in 10th now]
they had me on some medicine, that i would take if
i got a headache at school. i know it worked, really well.
i just dont know what it was called. any ideas?

Was sparring in mma and took a knee to the nose...never had a nose bleed in my life or a nose injury...bu it did hurt however i carried on....after it felt a bit bruised for a few days and when looking closely i could see it was swollen and had a little bump..its been a few months now and the bump has never really gone although it has gone a bit smaller what do you think it is?

recently i have been having this pain in my chest, its hard to pinpoint.

its also like in my throat when i breath (esophagus) and it feels like someones give grabbed all my insides and squeezed them really tight.

i cant swallow, breath, yawn etc without the pain.

i'm not sure what it could be from.. its summer - so its not a cold/virus...

i did choke on some water i think 2 days ago, (reaction was spitting it straight back out) and i kinda had a bit of trouble breathing for a bit, and i might of strained my lungs or something trying to be my breath back.. i dont know.

but i'm kinda freaked.
please help.

is it possible that it might be caused by second hand smoke from my parents (who smoke)
???
