It doesn't hurt at all when I walk or do regular things, but I can't sprint or do other extreme exercises like that. It's been over four weeks, and the strain I feel behind my thigh is still there and doesn't seem to be improving. What should I do?

While in report at the end of my shift today, other nurses told me that Restless Leg Syndrome can be treated by placing a bar of soap under the patient's sheets. I was then shown that some patients have the soap in place in their beds.
Does anyone have experience with this? Anyone agree or disagree with it?

At the start of the year I had a major spinal fusion it went for like 12 and a half hours, then I was in hospital for 3 weeks then off school for months. It was very traumatic, im am extremely young, hence being the youngest patient at the hospital I went to. Now, at every mention at an opporation or of something being wrong with me I burst into tears, is this partly becuase of my opperation?

I'm looking for a good handheld body massager. I don't really need heat, just need something for when I get out of work. I'm a dental assistant who is always on my feet. So I'd like to not only be able to use it on my back, shoulders, arms, but also on my legs. Also, I'm looking for a neck massager. Maybe one with heat. I get headaches very easily if my neck is tense. I've found massagers and heat to work great. Any suggestions for a handheld and a regular massager?

Been like this for a week now. It sometimes feels like the bottom portion of the palm is burning. Have a little bit of pain in left shoulder/upper arm and my neck hurts, but it is concentrated in the lower arm/hand.

My doctor said this is nerve damage and wrote me out a script for vitamin B. I had some 800mg ibuprophen that I've been taking from time to time but it has no affect.

Could this be carpal tunnel? I've had a few shooting pains but not many.

I used to have slighter cases of this when riding my bike everyday. I have to wear the gloves specially designed to protect the nerves in my palms.

I am wearing the wrist brace but it isn't getting better. Feels like its getting worse. What do you think?

There's pain up, down, and all around in both of my arms and my entire back as well. Everytime I try to move it feels like I've got 50 pound bricks pushing on all of my muscles. What is this caused by...? Stress? I haven't changed my daily routine or anything as far as movement goes.
What's the best thing to do/take to help?

Here's why Im asking this question.I went to the hospital a week ago cuz I was having lower back pain and my left leg is feeling numb and weak. The doctor assumed I had a pinched nerve cuz of the symptoms I told her.She didnt give me no x-ray,mri,or catscan.
A week later(which is today) I went to the hospital told them my symptoms(had a different doctor) and he sent me to the x-ray room.when my results came back he said that I had muscle spasms, not a pinched nerve.
What I wanna know is why is my left leg feeling weak and numb if I have back spasms. My lower back has been killing me.another thing why would one doctor say i have a pinched nerve but another one says its a muscle spasm.
Im confused, can somebody please help me out here

I can comfortably move the leg forward and backward (like walking), but cannot move the leg outward or twist my hips. The pain is unbelievable and usually last thirty to sixty seconds.

I got my ear cartillage in both ears pierced around a week ago and i've been feeling fairly ill since Tuesday. My temperature has gone up to 100.3 F, and i've been feeling fairly groggy. I've also had a lot of phlegm buildup in my throat and in general not beein feeling well. My ear cartillage is still sensitive to the touch, but I originally thought that that was simply because they were still recovering. Might these be symptoms of an ear infection? I've heard that fever is a symptom, yet I haven't had any discharge or odors coming from my ears, which is a more common symptom.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
