I'm thinking it's sinus pressure. Any ideas and any suggestions on what I can take to make this go away? Been going on for sometime now. Thanks for any help.

Sudafed 12 hr. Generic works just as well. If that doesn't make the pressure let up, the pain gets worse in the face area or you get a fever, see your Dr. It could be a sinus infection. Been there - it's not fun. Feel better soon!

If you have been having this pain for 2 weeks or longer more than likely you have a sinus infection. You will have to see your doctor about some antibiotics to kill the infection. If the pain persisted when you coughed or sneezed I would have told you something like Sudafed or Tylenol Cold would have helped but you said it persists when you bend over. Normally if the sinuses are just clogged bending over would relieve the pressure.

Blocked cough has inflamed the nerves which are causing pain after additional pressure.

There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for RA, OA, Back ache and almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.

Acidity, WORRY, sadness, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drug side effects, stress, bad smell, TV & COMPUTER SOMETIMES,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy, BODY CONSTITUTION etc are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.

Acupuncture is the best treatment.
I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.
The useless drugs have tremendous power of side effects like liver/kidney failures, ulcer, inflammation of intestines and lot more.
Avoid late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help if cough is not there.

But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

For forehead pain the points are in front of nails on the finger tips or 3-7 mm below.
It may disappear naturally too.

Take sudafed... the kind you have to get from behind the counter at the pharmacy. The kind from the shelves won't help much. Pseudoephinephrine will dry your sinuses and shrink the swollen membranes
Also, lie down and put a hot damp washcloth on your forehead and sinus area around your nose. Steamy heat like a shower also can help.
Take acetaminopen (tylenol) for the pain.

It does sound like sinus pressure/pain. Try taking an antihistamine to dry it up. While you're waiting for it to start working take a long hot shower then blow your nose really well. All this combined will clear your sinus' and dry everything up. It should help! Good Luck! =)

NeilMed sinus rinse is so great. I have nasal polyps and i get impacted sinuses. It works great to clear all of that junk out. It's a small bottle that you rinse your nose with. Also try DayQuill in an orange box, it is like NyQuill but will not make you drowsy!

Steamy showers, and possible doctors appt. if pain and discomfort continue. gl and GB p.s. those face steamers help too. Sounds like you may have a sinus infection and need a doctor's advice and care. They say when bending over if it gets worse in your head then you may have sinus problems.
